2016 AGM to be held onsite at Pueblo Evita Club in November.

As you may be aware, at last year’s Annual General Meeting we discussed the possibility of holding the

AGMs this year at the resort, as we have previously done before. We have not yet announced the actual

date for the Pueblo Evita AGM, but have selected the weekly period when this will be held. In Pueblo Evita

the AGM will be held the week starting with change over days on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of

October, 2016 and the AGM will be held sometime during this week.

We have blocked off these dates at the resort so that we have the maximum amount of apartments

available for members to be able to attend, if they wish to. The arrangement we have set up is that

members can elect to use a week of their normal yearly allocation to come to the resort during this week, or

if members prefer we will offer (to members only) a very special reduced rental rate of £139.00 for a

Standard One Bedroom unit for one week. Larger sized and Elite apartments will also be available at slightly

higher rates. Please check with us for complete details. Availability will be on a first-come first-served basis.

We will block these dates for members only until 30 June, 2016. After that inventory will be released for

Getting to know Pueblo Evita Club Staff members.

Continuing with our now traditional “Getting to know Pueblo Evita Club staff members” we would like to tell

you a little more about Alberto – one of our valets.

Alberto Moreno Sánchez was born in Malaga

where he also studied. At the age of 21 he started

work at Pueblo Evita in the Housekeeping

Department as a Valet Attendant and later on in

our onsite laundry.

He makes sure that our cleaners have all the

necessary linen for check-in and mid week

cleaning, reports any damaged fabrics that need

sewing and helps with replacements of any small

items in the apartments.

Alberto’s hobbies are; swimming, paddle and

maintaining friendships with his many childhood

friends.

From his father he inherited an interest for Buggy

Crossings and has done many of them through

Merzouga Desert (South Morocco) and more

locally through the Malaga mountains. Another of

his great hobbies is painting. Many years ago he

met Angel Jarillo, a local artist in La Línea de la

Concepción (Cadiz) and became fascinated by

this artists paintings. Every chance he got he

would go to La Línea to stay overnight and learn

painting techniques in Angel´s workshop. Over the

years Alberto has painted copies of Dali and

Picasso pictures and many others, which are his

own pieces of art. Right now he is finishing a

private collection for an exhibition in the Hotel

Reserva del Higueron (Malaga) to be inaugurated

very soon.

You can now appreciate why here in Pueblo Evita

when we need any art work done or an opinion

on color schemes Alberto is the one to talk to.

One of his wall paintings can be found in a small

archway behind the reception.

Gold Crown and Hospitality Awards - 2016.

For many years now we have been achieving the RCI Gold Crown and Hospitality Awards but it is always a

pleasure when the plaques are finally here on site!

These awards are awarded to Pueblo Evita based on yours and all RCI exchange members ratings placed

on the RCI web site after your holiday with us. Ratings are between 5 (Very Satisfied) and 1 (Very

Dissatisfied), so as we always say “Give us all 5’s” but do tell us if you feel any of our services were not up to

scratch or where we could improve.

• Block 11 landing now has a new ‘work of art’ by our maintenance team (see pic 1) • We added some color to the entrance of block 11 from the Clubhouse side (see pic 2) • Block 8, free Wi-Fi area has been repainted and decorated (see pic 3)
