Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey Signed Print Contest” Contest Rules Official Contest Rules The following are the Official Contest Rules for the “Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey Signed Print Contest” contest (the “Contest.”) The Contest is sponsored by Running Press, 2300 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, a member of the Perseus Books Group. Running Press is referred to herein as “Sponsor.” By entering this Contest, you, the “Contestant,” agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY to enter this Contest. 1. To Enter To enter the Contest, email either your online preorder confirmation or your name, age, and address along with a paragraph or two about why you love Ed Sheeran to [email protected]. 2. Eligibility The Contest is open to any person 18 years of age or older, who resides in the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or on a U.S. military installation in foreign countries, excluding employees and consultants of Sponsor and their subsidiaries and affiliates, immediate family members of employees and consultants of Sponsors and their subsidiaries and affiliates, and the Contest judges and their immediate families. Contest Winners may be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility, Grant and Publicity and Liability Release (the “Statement of Eligibility”). 3. Prize The winner will receive: An art print of an image from the book “Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey” by Ed Sheeran and Phillip Butah, signed by Phillip Butah and a collection of Ed Sheeran merchandise from the Ed Sheeran Webstore including x Backpack, x Rubber Wristband, 2015 Wall Calendar, Stripe Bobble Hat, and Graham t-shirt (size large). 4. How to Submit an Entry Each Contestant must submit his/her Entry to the Sponsor by emailing either their online preorder confirmation for the book “Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey” or their name, age, and address along with 1-2 paragraphs about why they love Ed Sheeran to [email protected].

• Entries may be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, on the day that a Contest commences and no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time of the day the Contest ends.

5. Publication Sponsor will announce when they have found a winner, . Sponsor will contact the winner privately. Sponsors may disqualify an Entry at any time if they determine that the Entry is ineligible for any reason under these Official Rules or otherwise. By submitting an Entry, Contestant is granting Sponsors the non-exclusive right to publish Contestant's entry on Sponsors' websites and related mobile links and to identify Contestant by name in conjunction with his or her Entry. Sponsors may post an eligible Entry online as soon as reasonably practical after submission and review. Sponsors may disqualify an Entry at any time if they determine that the Entry is ineligible for any reason under these Official Rules or otherwise, and, in such event, may remove the Entry from the Sponsors' websites and elsewhere where it is posted. 6. Entries Entries may not contain words that are pornographic, defamatory, or inappropriate in any other manner in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor may disqualify and remove an inappropriate Entry at any time without notice to the Contestant. Entries may not include personal information about any third person. The Entry must be the Contestant's own creative work. Entries may not misuse other parties' logos or trade names or violate the copyright of any person or entity or violate or infringe upon the right of privacy or publicity of any person or defame any person or entity. 7. Contestant Representations By entering the Contest, Contestant represents and warrants that the Entry is wholly original to him or her, that it is not copied from any work in a book, magazine, website, video, newspaper or other copyrighted work. At Sponsors' request, Contestants shall be required to execute all necessary or appropriate documents and take all other reasonable steps to acknowledge their compliance with the rights and responsibilities detailed in these rules including the warranties and representations contained in these Rules and the assignment of rights described in these Rules. 8. Disqualification If Sponsors later determine at any time that any Winner has made a material misrepresentation or breached the Official Contest Rules, the Entry shall be disqualified and any prize awarded to him or her shall be returned to Sponsors. If an Entry is determined to be ineligible because of Contestant's age, place of residence, relationship to Sponsors or any other reason, then Contestant may not resubmit an Entry. Sponsors shall not be responsible for lost or interrupted mail or email, lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunication, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including, without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online. Entry materials and/or data that have been tampered with or altered are void. 9. Conditions of Participation By submitting an Entry, Contestant agrees to the following conditions of participation:

• Grants to Sponsors non-exclusive rights to publish the Entry on their websites and mobile services in perpetuity as set forth in these Rules.

• Authorizes Sponsors to introduce Contestant to any media outlet that Sponsors invite to consider publishing the Entry or otherwise promote the Contest.

• The Winner may be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility, as set forth further Paragraph 10, below.

• Contestants shall not receive payment or any consideration for publication of an Entry, by or authorized by Sponsors, other than as set forth in the Official Contest Rules. Entries shall not be returned.

• Authorizes Sponsors to include Contestant's email address in their email marketing progran1 and to send email newsletters and other materials to Contestant by email unless and until Contestant exercises his or her right to opt out.

10. Winner The editors of the Sponsors shall review the Entries and pick one Winner. The judges shall evaluate the Entries based on their originality, creativity, and eloquence. The Winners shall be notified by email within 48 hours of the Contest ending. If the Contestant is chosen as a Winner, the Contestant may be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility, which shall confirm the grant of the rights and responsibilities set forth in these Official Contest Rules. Contestant will be sent this statement for review at the time of notification. The Sponsors may in their sole discretion extend the time for the return of this Statement. If a Winner or Runner-up cannot be contacted, does not satisfactorily return the Statement in Sponsors' sole judgment, or is for any reason no longer eligible to receive the Prize, he or she shall forfeit the Prize and Running Press may in its sole discretion select an alternate winner. 11. Prizes The retail value of first prize is $128.00. No prize substitutions shall be allowed. Winners are responsible for federal, state and local taxes, if any, on any prizes awarded. 12. Odds of winning Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the subjective decision by the judges. 13. Indemnification By entering the Contest, Contestant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsors, and their employees, representatives, agents and licensees from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable counsel fees and expenses, paid or incurred by the Sponsors by reason of Contestant's breach or alleged breach of any of the obligations, covenants, representations or terms contained in these Official Contest Rules. **
