What is PBA Symposium? PBA Symposium is an annual business education conference held during PBA Beauty Week hosted by Cosmoprof North
America. This educational summit provides the nation's top salon and spa professionals with higher education, unlimited
networking and powerful research about the contemporary beauty consumer.
What is Beacon? Beacon is an annual event held in conjunction with Symposium at PBA Beauty Week to provide the nation's top future
professionals with the guidance to achieve maximum career success. Beacon students attend the most celebrated industry
events during PBA Beauty Week and benefit from specially designed educational sessions to help them embark on a
successful career path.
Each year, hundreds of cosmetology students compete for a coveted spot in PBA’s Beacon program. 100 students who have
shown exceptional skill and dedication to the beauty industry will win free admission to the program. Up to 100 additional
students (honorable mentions) will receive admission at a discounted rate.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Gifting the Beacon Students ● Investment: $1,000 This is a fun way to get a sample of your product(s) into the hands of the future beauty industry professionals and begin building brand loyalty! Investment includes:
Company name and/or logo on the Beacon t-shirts worn by Beacon students during PBA Beauty Week

Speaker Sponsor ● Investment: $5,000 (Limited Availability) Receive premium branding by sponsoring one of the hand-picked speakers* at PBA Symposium or Beacon. Your company name and/or logo will follow as “sponsored by company name/logo” each time the speakers’ session is mentioned in print advertising and promotional campaigns. Investment includes:
Two (2) full PBA Symposium tuition packages (must confirm recipient names by deadline date). Each package includes one (1) 3-day badge to Cosmoprof North America, one (1) ticket to the Get Together Party and (1) ticket to NAHA.

Website Banner Ad ● Investment: $250 each site (Limited Availability) The official on-line source for all PBA Symposium/Beacon information (specify site) http://www.probeauty.org/beautyweek/ attracts thousands of salon and spa professionals every day. Rotating Banner ads (124x124), placed strategically throughout the website can be one of the most effective and affordable promotional vehicles today.
Attendee Bag Insert ● Investment: $350/$500* Each attendee receives an attendee bag at registration. Investment includes:
Your company’s PBA approved literature and/or product* inserted into each bag
Your company name and/or logo on the recognition section of the Symposium website
Attendee Notebook Ad ● Investment: $750 Each attendee receives the On-Site Notebook which includes a full schedule, event information, and blank pages to keep notes. Investment includes:

Attendee E-Blast ● Investment: $1,000 E-blasts will be sent to all NAHA 2011 salon and spa attendees and prospects leading up to PBA Beauty Week. E-blasts are
produced by the advertiser and sent out by PBA. Artwork is subject to PBA approval.

2012 PBA BEAUTY WEEK BRANDING TERMS & CONDITIONS
100% of total feel is due within 30 days signing this agreement. If contract is submitted within 30 days of the event, full payment is due immediately upon receipt of signed agreement. All fees are non-refundable.
The terms of this agreement may not be modified, except by written Agreement, signed by both parties.
It is understood that this form shall be legally binding between Show Management, hereinafter known as PBA, and your company, hereinafter known as Sponsor/Advertiser, only upon acceptance by PBA.
Sponsor/Advertiser shall be responsible for providing the “finished, professional quality” Promotional Opportunity (i.e. video, artwork, names, product, etc.) as required by the deadline date(s) and for meeting the exact specification indicated in the confirmation letter. In the event that such deadline is not met by the Sponsor/Advertiser, the opportunity in question shall revert back to PBA without obligation.
When applicable, only one person from your company will be allowed on stage for introduction purposes. PBA reserves the right to replace scheduled presenter with no further obligation to sponsor company and no refund of monies in the event of a no-show and/or if at the time of session, it has been deemed that presenter is not fit to appear on stage for any reason.
Cancellation: Any sponsor wishing to cancel this contract must do so in writing to Show Management. If such notice is received by Show Management before fulfillment begins, one half (50%) of the total fee shall be due to Show Management. If notice is received after fulfillment begins, the total fee (100%) shall be due to Show Management. All fees Paid to PBA are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If any term of this Agreement shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be binding upon the heir and successors of the Sponsor/Advertiser. This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between Sponsor/Advertiser and PBA concerning PBA Beauty Week Branding Opportunities.
Initiation of this proposal does not constitute a hold on items contained until fully executed by your company and the Professional Beauty Association (PBA).
