Monday WALT-Use the prefix mis WALT practice common joins
You need to know that-
‘’A prefix is a letter or group of letters added at the beginning of a root word that creates a new word with a
different meaning. We are going to explore the prefix ‘mis’.
The mis- prefix gives root words a negative meaning. ‘Mis-’ means wrong.’’
1. Write the spelling words from the word search in your best cursive handwriting. 2. Complete the wordsearch. 3. Find 2 other ‘mis’ words.
Today’s handwriting task focuses on the common joins – letters that frequently go together. We will look at Prefixes re-, mis-, dis- suffixes -ed , -en, -er and other common letter strings like pr, sp and th. Follow the video link : https://youtu.be/-NnmaUwrx00
