PATIENCE

The fourth Fruit of the Spirit mentioned

in Galatians 5:22-23 is ‘Patience’.

Some Bibles have the word Forbearance

which means to bear with it and wait

patiently. We shall use the fruit of a

“watermelon”. If you are going on a

journey (of patience) you will need some

water. A watermelon is refreshing and good for you.

It will help with the waiting! (waitermelon)

Patience is not something that happens automatically. People want things

to happen straight away or as quickly as it can. This is often not possible

and we have to be patient and wait. Sometimes for a long long time. We

find this difficult but if we ask God to help us He will! Patience shows

that we trust God.

BIBLE READINGS - Romans 8:25

Hebrews 12:1 Let us run with patience the

race that is set before us.

ACTIVITIES

This week you will find a few colouring pages and a

prayer activity to make and do from Charmaine.

One extra task to do this week is to learn and remember the verses about

the Fruits of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22 and 23. (NASB)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy and peace, patience,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness 23 gentleness, self control,

against such things there is no law.

When I ring you up I will be testing you to see how many you can

become more like Jesus. Know that God has already won the

battle and is going with us and ahead of us. So He will always

be there for us to pray for anything that is on our minds. Amen

Afterwards let us also say the Grace to finish.
