eventing rider Ingrid Klimke. She has been using

Passier products for many years – with great suc-

cess – and now a saddle and snaffle bearing her

name have been developed as a result. Of course

Passier also works in partnership with a number

of selected up-and-coming young riders. This

guarantees that in the future new developments

and optimization of products will continue to

be carried out in collaboration with professional

riders who place particular emphasis on the

perfect fit and material used.

The best example of a highly successful rider who has been putting her trust in Passier for many years now is Ingrid Klimke – the passionate eventing team gold medal winner at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong and London. As with most of our part-ners, Ingrid Klimke also gives her full support to the development of the saddles. The Ingrid Klimke Jumping and Cross-Country Saddle and Ingrid Klimke Snaffle have recently been developed with her.

This exclusive Jumping and Cross Country Saddle is the result of many years' collaboration with German Olympic team champion and professional eventing rider, Ingrid Klimke.

The saddle with elegant applications is

available in sizes 16” to 19” and four colors. The

image shows the saddle in Havana.

INGRID KLIMKE JUMPING AND CROSS-COUNTRY SADDLE

The saddle convinces by means of its perfect combination of a modern look, maximum comfort

and uncompromising horse-friendliness. The small and large saddle flaps covered with Jupa

Leather and the stitched down knee inserts with calf inserts ensure perfect security for the rider,

whilst the soft seat guarantees the special Passier riding sensation. The saddle flap of covered,

smooth leather, which is reinforced in the lower third section, keeps wear and tear to an absolute

minimum. The narrow twist of the saddle enables very close contact with the horse.

which guarantee a perfect fit through the large contact area, and the rear area of the saddle tree has been enlarged to ensure maximum freedom of

A SADDLE WITH FINE DETAILSTHE PERFECT LOOK – ALL ROUND

Elegant decorative seams, the Passier emblem on the stirrup strap loop and the

sophisticated Team Klimke logo with decorative horse motifs on the underside of the

saddle flap give this saddle its unique, individual look. Because this saddle ensues

from the successful collaboration between two top partners: Ingrid Klimke and

G. Passier & Sohn.

Exceptionally soft pro-cessed and non-slip Jupa Leather has been used for the Ingrid Klimke Saddle. The light decorative seams and sophisticated embos- sings are a particular high-light of this saddle and make it a real eye-catcher!

INGRID KLIMKE SNAFFLE

This horse-friendly snaffle has been developed by Passier in

collaboration with Ingrid Klimke. The softly lined head piece

has a wider ear recess and broader contact area, the head

strap of the caveson is positioned on top of the head piece.

These features provide optimal pressure relief on the horse's

poll. The softly lined Passier Special Caveson and strass crystal

browband complete the snaffle. The image shows the snaffle

in Havana with brass fittings.

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

The popular, smoothly stitched figure 8 noseband is now

available as an exchangeable noseband – suitable for the

Basic Line Fortuna, Phoenix, Scorpius and Aquarius snaffles.

It can be attached to the softly lined snaffles by buckles on

both sides. In the image on the right, the noseband is worn

with the Scorpius Snaffle.

The exchangeable Figure 8 Noseband is available in cob size/full size and with a choice of stainless steel or brass fittings.

EXCLUSIVE LINE

The Passier stirrup leathers from the Exclusive Line are made of

selected pre-stretched cow hides so they retain their original length.

The curved stainless steel buckles fit the saddle perfectly and enable

particularly close contact to the horse. The stirrup leathers are elabo-

rately hand-sewn to ensure that the seams hold – the stitches cannot

rip out. The sewing is on the flesh side of the leather which puts the

grain side to the inside. Using this quality technique means much

greater force would be required to tear the holes. Just one reason

why original Passier stirrup leathers have an especially long life.

SOFT TOUCH

The stirrup leathers with nylon inserts from the Basic Line combine all

the advantages of modern stirrup leathers. The exclusive leather with

“Soft Touch” makes them extremely soft and supple. Thanks to the

integrated nylon insert they will never stretch, no matter how intensely

they are used. The curved stainless steel buckles adapt perfectly to

the stirrup bar and guarantee particularly close contact to the horse.

The stirrup leathers maintain their elegant look for many years, provid-

ed they are cared for properly.
