VEKA Outdoor Living Productsis proud to introduce it’s newgreen initiative for extrudedPVC profiles, DualEdge™, EcoLayer Extrusion Technology.

For almost 50 years VEKA has been a premiumsupplier of PVC profiles for the window, door,fence, deck and railing industries. For years,European corporations have been at the forefront of the closed material life cycle forsustainable products and VEKA is no exception.

Environmental awareness has always been afocus of all the VEKA facilities worldwide withthe catalyst being a PVC recycling plant in Germany, operated exclusively by VEKA.

For over 10 years, VEKA North America hasfocused on its own initiatives by using in-housemixed color, pre-consumer, reclaimed PVC foragricultural post & rail as well as extrudedpackaging containers and liners.

DualEdge™ Eco Layer profiles are VEKA’s first introduction of this reclaimed* material into themarketplace. Select shapes are being introduced to our fabricator base for the manufacture of PVC fence and rail. The duallayers consist of VEKA’s standard, high performance, weatherable PVC outer shell,along with, our own in-house captured PVC substrate. By using our own material for thesubstrate, VEKA is assured that the highestquality, high performance ingredients are blendedinto the formulation guaranteeing that DualEdge™will exceed industry standards. As a result ofproven performance characteristics, DualEdge™comes with a limited lifetime warranty*.

For you, the fabricator, it is peace of mind thatyou are using a material that contributes toyour own green initiatives through reclaimedPVC. This product uses less embodied energy toproduce which means less fuel consumption.Also, products made with DualEdge™ profilesshow a dedication to environmental responsibility within your community.
