Refund and Transfer PoliciesTo request a refund, please visit www.forsythco.com/parks and click on How do I? A full refund will be issued for cancellations made by the parks and recreation department.

Class:Afullrefundwillbeissuedforrequestsreceivedatleasttwobusinessdayspriortothefirstclassdate.Subsequently, a 50% refund will be issued for requests received before the second class date. No refunds thereafter. Class transfers follow the same guidelines.

Camp: A full refund will be issued for requests received at least one week prior to the camp start date. Subsequently, a 50% refund will be issued for requests received by noon on the Friday before camp starts. No refunds thereafter. Camp transfers follow the same guidelines.

Adventure Activity: A full refund will be issued for requests received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled activity date. No refunds thereafter. Adventure Activity transfers follow the same guidelines.

Recreation Center Pass: A full refund will be issued for requests received within one week of purchase. No refunds thereafter. Pass changes follow the same guidelines.

Athletic League: No refund will be issued except under special circumstances as approved by the department. For special requests, please email [email protected] or call (770) 781-2215.

Facility Rental: For community buildings, pavilions and recreation center facilities, a full refund will be issued for requests received at least two business days prior to the rental date (unless the rental fee is $300 or more in which a $100 non-refundable fee will apply). No refunds thereafter. For all other rental types, please check the rental agreement. Reservation changes follow the same guidelines.

Program buddies do not need to register for the program unless noted in the description. For art programs, buddies will not complete their own project. TR DAY CAMPl The TR summer day camp program will provide a fun and structured schedule of indoor and outdoor activities including games, arts and crafts, music, sports, special guests and theme

related activities.l Extended hours are 7:30-9 am and 4 to 5:30 pm and provide your child with staff supervision as they participate in a variety of activities.l Campers must be ambulatory or able to transfer into a seat of a standard school bus. Participants should also not be an elopement risk. We are opening all weeks of camp to a wider range of

ages. Staff will develop age appropriate groups within each week of camp and design activities for the different age groups.l EachchildmusthaveacompletedTRParticipantInformationForm,aSeizureInformationFormandMedicationForm(ifapplicable)onfilepriortothestartofcamp.l Staff ratio will be one staff for every two campers.l Campers will need to bring a non-perishable sack lunch, two snacks, water bottle, sunscreen, and a change of clothes each day. Participants should bring a water bottle and come prepared to practice indoors or outdoors, based on the weather.People interested in this program do not have to be Special Olympics members and/or be interested in playing in the Special Olympic Softball season to participate in this program.AGES DAYS DATES TIME LOCATION FEE 12/up Sa 6/06-6/27 10:00-11:30am Coal Mountain Park $10.00 SUMMER OPEN GYMGet an early start on the fall Special Olympics basketball season, keep working on your Top Soccer skills or come out just for some exercise and fun activities in this Open Gym program. Therapeutic Recreation staff will supervise activities including basketball, soccer, nerf football and kick ball. Program Buddy Policy: Participants may bring a family member, caregiver or friend as a Program Buddy to assist the participant in understanding directions, staying on task and having a successful and fun time in the program. A Program Buddy’s role is to assist the participant, so they should be actively working with the participant and not independently playing sports. Note: sneakers or running shoes required. Cost: $5 drop-in rate per day or buy a Recreation Annual Basic Pass - $10 for the year for county residents.
