THE YOUNG PEOPLES’ EVENT
• Invitations were sent to all the young people
in the village with a covering letter to the
parents or guardians
• All parents were invited to attend the function
• The event started off with an Icebreaker
• The young people were split into four groups
• Each group came up with ideas of what they would like in the village
• Part way through the afternoon a buffet and soft drinks were provided for the attendees
• A prize was awarded to the person who
came up with the best idea
• The function was well attended by the young
people of the village
• They were all interested in the future of the village
