A Balance of Formative & Summative Assessments
Summative Assessments are given periodically to
determine at a particular point in time what students know and
do not know. (paper & pen)
Formative Assessment is part of the on-going instructional process which informs both
teachers and students about student
understanding at a point when timely
adjustments can be made.

Triple P Level 2Being a mother of 3, I faced a lot ofchallenges in their behaviour, emotions, dealing with their school life. By attending the programme, I learnt many strategies to handle these situations. They taught me how to be calm, understand the kids’ emotions and how to handle them with love and care. Now I am more patient than before and can deal with them calmly and rationally- Parent from Clementi Primary School
What Parents Say
More Feedback on EBPs:
Programme has helped parents to:
• Help their children cope with their emotions
• Avoid corporal punishment in getting their children to listen to them
• Reduce their children’s gaming addiction
• Get children to help out in household chores
Triple P Level 3The programme has helped me and my husband understand better about the development phase that my child went through and the root cause of her emotional issue.
The Counsellor guided us with systematic steps to help her overcome her emotion, help her be more organized and rewarded her when she behaved well. The Counsellor also gave us encouragement and recognized what we did well that made us more confident as parents.–Parent, Qifa Primary School
