INTRODUCTION Hindustan copper limited was set up on the 9 nov.1967 and assigned the task of exploration prospectively and mining activity for minerals in particular Cu extraction and fabrication of metals and manufacture of products- alloys and byproduct. It is also expected to undertake research development consulting services in concentrator, smelter and refinery. Its head office is in Kolkata .
