PRODUCT INFORMATION

The PANDROL Re System delivers an assembly with faster installation times and a reduced number of components when compared to a traditional e-clip equivalent. This can lead to more productiveengineering possessions for track refurbishment.

Separating the insulator into two parts has

demonstrated greater component life for this

vital element of the rail fastening assembly.

The separate parts can be made from the

same or different materials to further tune

track performance.

As with all PANDROL fastenings, the

PANDROL Re System is backed by many

years of worldwide experience, and an

unmatched depth of technical understanding

from PANDROL’s technical engineers.

With the PANDROL Re System, the rail

pad is supplied with the side post insulators

already attached, reducing time and labour

when laying out and installing the

components on site. The Re System is also

supplied with toe insulators already in place

on the toe of the clip, again reducing

installation time and the number of loose

components on site.

The PANDROL Re System adopts the two-

part insulator concept that was developed

with the PANDROL FASTCLIP system.

DESIGN FEATURES OF THE PANDROL Re SYSTEM

Replaceability of Components

The PANDROL Re System is virtually

maintenance free, with the component

materials carefully selected to optimise the

useful life of the rail fastening assembly and

sleeper as a whole. However, should you need

to replace a component, it is a simple

procedure to withdraw the clip, without the

need to unfasten bolts or screws.

Testing

PANDROL fastenings are tested against

standards published by the European

Committee for Standardisation (CEN).

PANDROL Re SYSTEM

• Low Cost

• Few, simple components

• Easy to install

• Virtually maintenance free

• Very long life

• High safety level and security

• Potential for mechanisation

• No threads to strip or corrode

• Straighforward use in operations such

as rail changing and destressing

• Elastic fastenings that restrain

the rail under vibration

Threadless

The PANDROL Re System has no threaded

components:

• eliminating the possibility of nuts, bolts

or screws loosening

• eliminating the effect of water freezing

in holes in the sleeper

• eliminating problems which may be

caused by cross-threading

• reducing the effect of corrosion

• reducing the effect of the ingress of dirt

and detritus
