From the Starlet - Yellow (B), cut:• (3) 1 ¾” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 1 ¾” x 8” strips.• (3) 1 ¾” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 1 ¾” x 10 ½” strips.
From the Artist Palettes - Purple (C), cut:• (2) 8” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (6) 8” squares. From the Starlet - Red (D), cut:• (3) 1 ¾” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 1 ¾” x 8” strips.• (3) 1 ¾” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 1 ¾” x 10 ½” strips.• (2) 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (16) 1” x 4 ½” strips.• (3) 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (16) 1” x 5 ½” strips.
From the Cat Faces - White (E), cut:• (3) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 3 ½” x 10 ½” strips.

From the Dots - Turquoise (I), cut:• (4) 2” x 40 ½” WOF strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 55 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 43 ½” strips.• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.
From the Cat Collage - Pink (J), cut:• (1) 5” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 5” squares.
From the Stripe - Green (K), cut:• (2) 5” x 58 ½” Length of Fabric (LOF) strips.• (2) 5” x 43 ½” LOF strips.
From the Artist Palettes - Purple (Backing), cut:• (2) 60” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 60” x 75” back.

Block Assembly1. Sew (1) 1 ¾” x 8” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 8” Fabric A square. Sew (1) 1 ¾” x 10 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A square to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (6) Unit 1 squares total.
2. Sew (1) 1 ¾” x 8” Fabric D strip to each side of (1) 8” Fabric C square. Sew (1) 1 ¾” x 10 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric C square to make (1) Unit 2 square (Fig. 2). Repeat to make (6) Unit 2 squares total.
3. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric E strip to the bottom of (1) Unit 1 square to make (1) Unit 3 rectangle (Fig. 3). Repeat to make a second Unit 3 rectangle.
4. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric E strip to the top of (1) Unit 1 square to make (1) Unit 4 rectangle (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (4) Unit 4 rectangles total.

Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)15. Sew (1) 2” x 55 ½” Fabric I strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 43 ½” Fabric I strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
16. Sew (1) 5” x 58 ½” Fabric K strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5” Fabric J square to each end of (1) 5” x 43 ½” Fabric K strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.
17. Layer and quilt as desired.
18. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric I strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
19. Bind as desired.

5. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric E strip to the top of (1) Unit 2 square to make (1) Unit 5 rectangle (Fig. 5). Repeat to make a second Unit 5 rectangle.
6. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric E strip to the bottom of (1) Unit 2 square to make (1) Unit 6 rectangle (Fig. 6). Repeat make (4) Unit 6 rectangles total.
7. Sew (1) 1” x 4 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of (1) 4 ½” Fabric F square. Sew (1) 1” x 5 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric F square to make (1) Unit 7 square (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (8) Unit 7 squares total.
8. Sew (1) 3” Fabric G square to the left side of (1) 3” Fabric H square. Sew (1) 3” Fabric H square to the left side of (1) 3” Fabric G square. Sew the (2) strips together lengthwise to make (1) Unit 8 square (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (8) Unit 8 squares total.
9. Sew (2) Unit 3 rectangles and (2) Unit 5 rectangles together, alternating them, to make the Row One of the Center Block (Fig. 9).
10. Sew (4) Unit 7 squares and (4) Unit 8 squares together, alternating them, to make Row Three of the Center Block (Fig. 9).
11. Sew (2) Unit 6 rectangles and (2) Unit 4 rectangles together, alternating them, to make Row Five of the Center Block (Fig. 9).
12. Sew (4) Unit 8 squares and (4) Unit 7 squares together, alternating them, to make Row Seven of the Center Block (Fig. 9).
13. Sew (2) Unit 4 rectangles and (2) Unit 6 rectangles together, alternating them, to make Row Nine of the Center Block (Fig. 9).
14. Sew the (5) pieced rows, in numerical order, and (4) 2” x 40 ½” Fabric I strips together lengthwise, alternating them, to make the Center Block (Fig. 9).
