Selected Concept The current concept involves the use of a base frame with 4 different individual surface pieces to be used at a time with obstacles placed on top of them. The course will have an electronic system that reads which surfaces are being used, where obstacles are placed, and the prints out the setup.

Project Description and High-Level Customer Needs

• Description: The team will design and build an obstacle Course to be used by the Nazareth PT clinic that will give patients an array of different obstacles encountered in everyday life and will allow for progress tracking.

• High-Level Needs:– The obstacle course will provide training for patients who are re-

learning how to maneuver independently in their own homes. – The product will be safe. – The product will be easy to use. – The product will provide a means for both varying and

repeatable training.
