MCMC summer
camp– where kids play
and learn at the same
time. The students of this
year’s summer camp
have worked long and
hard in these 5 weeks
full of fun and Islamic
education.
Now, these kids
know how to make a
proper Wudoo and
know the words of Ad-
haan. Children who
have taken part in
MCMC summer camp
have learned Duaas and
memorized Surahs from
the Quran. Now, the
Seerah of the Prophet
(SAW) is no mystery to
summer camp students.
The concept of fasting
and Ramadan is not hard
for summer camp stu-
dents. These are only a
few of the things our
hardworking students
learned this summer.
On top of all that,
the students have played
soccer and basket ball.
The girls, under the in-
struction of Sr.Azza,
made a beautiful mural.
Our Youth girls hosted a
lemonade sale and a
bake sale for the benefit
of MCMC summer camp.
The water balloon fight
was an amazing day for
all, students and teach-
ers. The field trip to
Pump It Up was a blast!
In this gradua-
tion ceremony our stu-
dents will show only a
little of what they have
learned in these 5
weeks. Ramadan Ka-
reem! And have a happy
Eid!

Dear Summer Camp parents & community members
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Ramadan Mubarak to you all! May Allah swt accept your siyam and qiyam and all
acts of goodness in this blessed month of Quran.
Congratulations! The MCMC Summer Camp 2012 has ended successfully.
“The aim of the MCMC summer camp is to provide Muslim children an Islamic
atmosphere during summer, away from negative influences of the society, so
that they can learn about the greatness of Allah swt and purpose of life while de-
veloping a sense of brotherhood among themselves and practicing acts of wor-
ship”.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my heart-
felt thanks and appreciation for all parents for their support and cooperation to
make this year's MCMC Summer Camp a huge success. Thank you for entrusting
your child’s summer education and development to us during this sum-
mer break, and bringing your child to summer camp.
The summer camp of 2012 has indeed turned out to be a great source of learn-
ing, excitement and fun for all participating children. Truly the children took art
in all activities of this year’s summer camp with interest, enthusiasm, and excite-
ment. As a result, the entire period of 5 weeks has turned out to be full of aca-
demic learning and fun.
Besides classroom learning, the Adhan contest, the exciting water balloon fight,
the art sessions, the fun-filled field trip to Pump it up, Ramadan parties, bake
sales, & lemonade sale, the martial art session, the Tajweed classes for older
boys, and useful educational skits to teach Wudu and Salah to younger children
were the main features of this year’s Summer Camp.
This is the time for me to thank Allah swt for His favors upon me as I was blessed
with a wonderful team of teachers and volunteers. The true credit of this huge
success goes to my team of teachers and volunteers as without their help and
support we would not have been able to achieve this huge success. I would like
to take this opportunity to congratulate my entire team of teachers and volun-
teers for their outstanding efforts to help me organize this camp. Thank you for
your efforts, ideas, suggestions, hard work, dedication, thank you for everything.
I also would like to thank Br Rahmat Ilahi, Br Raqib, Br Javed and others for their
outstanding efforts to make this year’s camp a success.
And finally, I would like to say a very sincere “Jazakum Allah Khairan” to
Br. Muhammad Ali for his tireless efforts and for providing every possible
assistance and support to successfully organize this camp.
I commend and congratulate Juwairia Ansari for putting together such a beautiful
newsletter.
Have a wonderful Ramadan!
I am looking forward to welcome you all next year, Insha Allah.
Sincerely,
Ahmad Ansari

2012 was the second year of MCMC and Annoor Academy to join forces
and provide quality Islamic Education and Tarbeah for
Muslim children during summer. The number of students has multiplied
many folds from past few years.
This shows the trust parents are placing in Annoor Academy/MCMC and
the desire of the parents to raise good Muslim children.
The summer camp team takes this trust very seriously and are committed
to excellence. We believe in continuous improvement
and receive feedback as an opportunity for a step closer to excellence.
Children love to come to the camp because of the balance we provide be-
tween education and fun while taking advantage of Interactive
learning tools.
We request parents to step up and get more involved in the next summer
camp. Together we can make the difference.
Hope and Pray that you have a wonderful Ramadan and the Eid to
come. Remember us in your prayers when breaking fast!
Ramadan Kareem!
