1 Overview of the academic affairs system The academic affairs system is designed to process affairs that are required in your campus life (i.e. academic affairs) such as registering courses, viewing academic performance, and issuing certificates. An Okadai ID is required to use the system. (An initial ID is assigned by the Center for Information Technology and Management at the time of admission.) * An Okadai ID is required to use various information services on campus. Please manage the ID properly. * The system is accessible from educational PCs in the Computer Room, etc. or PCs that are connected to wireless LAN on campus. * Automatic certificate issuing machines are installed in the Building for General Education, Peach Union, respective faculties, etc. Academic affairs system (webpage) Register courses (The information can only be viewed after the registration period.) How to use the academic affairs system

1. Log in to a PC (an educational PC)

1 TurnonaneducationalPC.Afterawhile,thedesktopscreenappears.The“PCセットアップ(PCsetup)”windowpopsupautomatically.

2 EnteryourOkadaiIDandpassword(indicatedinthe“パスワード通知書 [NotificationofYour

Password]”)intheboxesofthepopupwindow,andclickthe 認 証 (Authenticate)button.

* Adefaultpassword(assignedbytheuniversity)isindicatedinthe“パスワード通知書(NotificationofYourPassword)”forinitialsetup.Youmustchangethepasswordinpreparationforthelossofthedefaultpassword,etc.Tochangethepassword,followthestepsbelow.

Coursescanberegisteredanddeletedduringthecourseregistrationperiod.Coursescanonlybedeletedduringthecoursemodificationperiod,andcanonlybeviewedduringthecoursereferenceperiod.Eachperiodisdifferentdependingonyourfaculty.Checkthedetailsonnoticesputuponthebulletinboards,etc.

3. How to delete a registered course (course registration / modification period)

1 Enterthe“CourseNo.”(asix‐digitnumber)ofthecoursethatyouwishtocancelintheCourseNo.boxontheleftsideofthescreen,andclickthe Delete button.

2 Whenthedeletionprocessiscompleted,checkthatthecoursehasbeendeletedfromthe

timetable. Duringthecourseregistrationperiod,youcancancelacourseandregisteradifferentcourse

forthesamedayoftheweek/period.

How to apply for lottery-based courses

With“LiberalArts”educationcourses,someclassesinthe“IntellectualUnderstanding”,“ArtandPractice”and”VersatileSkills”haveenrollmentlimitstoensureeffectiveteachingandsmoothclassoperation.Alotteryisusedtoselectapplicantsforthesecourses.

Regardingcourseswhosestudentsarechosenbylot,carefullycheckthe“syllabus”and“教養教育科目 履修の手引・授業時間表 (Guideandtimetableforliberalartscourses).”Pleasenotethattherearecoursesotherthanthosementionedabove,whichusethelotterysystem.

Regardingthedetailsofsignupforcoursesonthelotterysystem,checknoticesputuponthebulletinboardsoncampusandGmailmessagesfromtheAcademicAffairsOffice.

3. How to apply for additional openings and delete courses

Afterthelotresultsareannounced,additionalopeningsbecomeavailableforallthecourseswhosestudentsarechosenbylotandthathavenotreachedtheircapacity.Applicationsforadditionalopeningsareacceptedonafirst‐come‐first‐servedbasis.Theresultsareannouncedimmediately.Ifyounolongerwishtotakecoursesforwhichyouwerechosenbylot,deletethecoursespromptly.

* Studentsarenotallowedtodirectlycontactthefacultymembersinchargeofthecoursesandinquireaboutthecourses.
