Over the last 25 years, my personal experiences and investigations have clearly revealed that the medical and

health system in place today is neither what I grew up with nor what I had assumed it to be. Many of the

solutions I have found in my searches are far from the realms of what we have been taught and certainly far

outside the realm of what has become conventional practice, yet much of what I’ve found may work far better!

For those who honestly search and investigate, I suspect your findings will be similar.

Despite the expressed and chartered purpose and the

public’s general perception, the US FDA is clearly far

from protecting the public interests and is itself a

major part of the overall problem.

"The thing that bugs me is that the people think the FDA is protecting them. It isn’t. What the FDA is

doing and what the public thinks it’s doing are as different as night and day.”1

Ley also strongly castigated drug industry practices in general, warning them that:

"unless there is a major change in the drug industry emphasis on sales over

safety, the industry as we know it today may well be buried within the next

several years in a grave it has helped dig--inch by inch, overpromotion by

overpromotion, bad drug by bad drug."2

I was fortunate to grow up in the 50’s and 60’s, and was treated for the vast majority of that time by the very person

that delivered me into this world, or more specifically “assisted” that delivery! The dear doctor was like a trusted

member of our extended family who we would always rely on for his medical experience and wisdom for all matters of

health.

In these decades, and those before, families and individuals, when health issues arrived, often simply delivered their

issues to the family doctor to be solved usually with good results. My how things have changed! In the decades that

followed in my adulthood, the clinics and doctors seemed to forget who I was between visits (largely because I didn’t

need to go very often). With a revolving door of doctors, none were ever able to spend more than a few moments of

their precious time to delve into any need, serious or

otherwise, and none ever remaining long enough to. Times

have most definitely changed!

The “Hypocrisy of Allopathy: When the Healing Art Became the

Business of Medicine” by Holman and Allen3, and part 1 of The

Electric Human 4 (Holman and Haltiwanger) revealed how these

historical transitions came about and are well worth the

review. Those publications also reveal the motivations for FDA

Commissioner Ley’s grave concerns and comments.

Suppression We have seen suppression throughout history. It has historically been the norm rather than the exception. The powers

that be seem to hold onto their grasp as long as they can, and in most cases by any means possible; be it religious,

political, scientific or commercial interest. This held power usually comes at the expense of competing, (often superior),

technologies and ideas. Ridicule, regulation, even persecution and prosecution have been the tools of survival for these

dying or obsolete powers.

When it comes to grasping conventional medicine and medical care, John D. Rockefeller was the key individual who

strategically captured what would become the largest industries in the world. The irony and hypocrisy here was,

Rockefeller himself did not believe in and would not use the industry he was creating. On his death bed, he was still

served as he was all his life. He was treated by a homeopath with homeopathic medicine; the very art and technology he

maneuvered to put out of visual existence so that his profitable investments could prevail. For him it appears, was

ALWAYS about money! Truth and honesty apparently never had anything to do with the actions. An agenda was being

carried out.

Moved to Oblivion With the spotlight now being focused on one technology, the other was forcibly moved to the shadows. What we now

refer to as alternative medicine was not then the alternative, but rather the prevailing philosophy until it was

manipulated to the relative unknown. In Galileo’s time we saw this same sort of manipulation of science done via the

Church.

Upon closer examination, suppression has always been about pushing out competition and grasping that part of the

mindset or market if a commercial interest is involved. This has almost always been most easily accomplished by

restricting the public’s access to information in some way, limiting the information the thinking public has access to

which might allow them to make an alternative or informed choices.

The spotlight was focused on “pharma” as the new panacea with the current processes being even further removed

from the view of the people and literally cast so far into the shadows as to be all but forgotten. The only way this could

be successfully done is if certain aspects were hidden and intentional deception or misdirection was involved. Of course

it was, by both plan and Machiavellian architecture through media, education, intimidation, regulation, and

enforcement. This prevailing system has expanded on a global scale.

The Biggest Threat to Powers of Control The biggest threat to existing powers of control is the public knowledge and awareness

of effective alternatives and real choices available. If “Ignorance” and “Darkness” are the

enablers of this oppressive system, then “Awareness” and “Enlightenment” are the

emancipators who can lead the educated public, their friends, their families and others

toward new and viable choices.

This battle between the Light and Dark has always existed, and likely always will.

However, it must be recognized for what it is before it can be understood and addressed. One side is giving and sharing

with an abundance, the other is the absorption, taking, utilizing, and giving virtually nothing in return.

My dear friend, author, peace activist, musician, specialist in human development, educator and pioneer in the Arab

world, Dr. Salah Al-Rashed so elegantly stated:

“We know that the world is getting better, healthier, more peaceful, more loving,

more connecting, more extending, more conscious. But we also know that it is also

getting worse, sicker, more violence, more hate, more isolation, narrowing. The two

choices exist simultaneously and we want to make the first choice a clearer

possibility for our people”5

To me, the simplicity and depth of what was communicated in those few words was both evident and obvious. However,

they also reminded me that the available public choices were NOT always so apparent or available. The simplicity of his

statement revealed to me the beginning of solutions to the problems we face today.

I immediately shared a brief response, #NewPortal20156, with my initial thoughts on a point of physics, but it took days

for fuller implications to “set in” and the broader scope to be understood. The “key” however was right there in “Black

and White”! (Darkness and Light)

Visibility through Enlightenment Although I have often referred to better education and “enlightenment” as being necessary, I

realized that many of the situations we are facing today COULD NOT POSSIBLY HAVE HAPPENED

had the general public been educated and well informed. The crisis of health care, the limited

treatments and the suppression of viable alternatives INTENTIONALLY kept from the public

have created the failing systems we have today.

Self-education and enlightenment is the “contagious” solution. As we enlighten ourselves, those around us are also

affected and raised as our thoughts and personal experiences are shared with those close to us. This is the type of

sharing and education is almost impossible to be suppressed and is crucial to our more permanent positive changes.

Salah also added referencing the #NewPortal2015 initiative:

The idea is to start a wave of building a new portal for better possibilities for all of us. A better

Our Valuable Tool The valuable tool we have available today is the Internet. It allows for the unlimited information of the World Wide

Web, the public sharing of personal experiences via Facebook, instant and direct communications with like-minded

others to be instantly available via Twitter, direct video telephony via Skype; all on a truly global scale. It should be no

surprise that those who desire suppression and control, naturally wish to have more control over regulation of these

very media.

“Big Pharma” as health advocate, crisis management consultant, and

reporter, Tim Bolen8 often refers to the immoral behemoth industry; has

captured conventional media through shear purchasing power and, especially

in North America. Innovation in health care has been discouraged and is

constantly being attacked by the status quo and for too long been

withholding the needed information, even removing precious “puzzle pieces”

from public view.

Our Most Precious Resource is US We are truly the solutions. By continuing to educate ourselves …. By sharing our knowledge, our experiences, our goals,

our feelings our revelations, we are laying out the “puzzle pieces” for ALL to see. Even with pieces missing the true

pictures will still emerge.
