OverviewOverview

Heartbeat is a classic styled vessel richly appointed with upgrades and top of the lineequipment and furnishings. The vessel was highly customized specifically for the currentowners who have extensive knowledge of long range cruising. There are beautiful teak cap railson both the main and fly bridge decks. The full enclosure on the Fly Bridge made possibleexclusive use of the fly bridge by the current owner and provides a spacious and comfortablegathering area for the guest and owners. All decks on Heartbeat are covered with teak deckingexcept for the boat deck. There were courtesy lights added so every step on board has a lightand all are LED on a single circuit controlled from either the Pilot House or Fly Bridge.Approximately 50 extra overhead lights were added to the interior during construction to

enhance lighting. There were extensive upgrades to the interior wood with cherry veneers, cherrywood moldings, burl in-lays and recessed panel cabinetry construction. All floor hatches on thelower level are hinged and have hydraulic cylinders to assist opening and closing. This was doneat the time of construction to prevent floor damage trying to handle large bulky floor hatches.

Heartbeat has only been used November through March of each of the past 5 years to cruiseFlorida and the Bahamas. The remainder of each year, 7 months, she has been storedcompletely under cover at Cable Marine in FT Lauderdale. During this period each year she hasbeen carefully monitored and all maintenance and services have been performed.

Main SalonMain Salon

Double doors provide access into the Main Salon from the Aft Deck with Phantom Screens thatcan close off the entire opening. The inside of these doors has wood trim details. All flooring inthe salon and throughout all cabins onboard Heartbeat was upgraded to teak and holly withsatin finish. There were extensive upgrades to the interior details as well with Burl wood inlaysadded to the window mullions in the main salon and wood trim detailing of the doors and wallswith molding designs.

The settee was custom designed for maximum comfort and is upholstered in beige leather.There is extensive storage space throughout this space both under the settee and in cabinetsand drawers. To starboard there is an entertainment center with pop up TV, NAD sound systemwith wall mounted SpeakerCraft speakers with custom grills, and Crestron Prodigy integratedremote control system. The entertainment cabinet houses the TV, audio video components plusthree large drawers. There are two overhead hand holds built into the cherry coffered ceilingdesign, very unique designer sconces and lamps (purchased in Europe by the owners) and acustom cocktail table. Flat furniture top surfaces, edge details (cherry) and overhead cofferedceilings and hand rails are finished in high gloss and everything else is satin finish. Additionaloverhead lighting was added to enhance various lighting schemes available for use. All windowsin the salon and side windows in the pilot house are fitted with Hunter Douglass Country Woodswide wood blinds and curtain accents in salon only. In the forward section there is a storagecabinet with 9 drawers, three Crown Limited T back S/S swivel bar stools with foot rest and agranite breakfast bar. There is a digital air-conditioning control dedicated to the main salon. Tostarboard facing aft there is a lighted china cabinet, two steps up to the galley or seven stepsdown to the engine room which is aft or to the master stateroom going forward.

GalleyGalley

The galley is slightly elevated above the salon and is open to the salon space. The 70/30 splitS/S double sink with disposal is all the way to port in front of a large opening window, it has asingle lever Grohe spray faucet. A Wolf Induction cook top, Wolf convection oven, Kitchen Aidmicrowave with ventilation hood vented to the outside and Kitchen Aid refrigerator withmatching wood cabinetry panels all face aft. There are twin Kitchen Aid dishwasher drawers anda Kitchen Aid trash compactor facing forward. Both the dishwashers and the trash compactorhave custom wood panels that match the cabinetry. All countertops are granite, the back splashis ceramic tile with custom specialty tiles incorporated into the design. There is a custom chinacloset with custom rope lighting to port and there is a dumb waiter to the fly bridge. There is afull set of china, silver, cook ware, utensils and glasses on board. Also located in the galleythere are start stop controls for the two generators in order to easily crank a generator for

cooking purposes. All the way forward in the hall way leading towards the Pilot House there is aday head to starboard. It has a Head Hunter toilet, marble flooring and countertop with undermount china bowl sink. There is a digital air-conditioning control dedicated to the galley.

Pilot HousePilot House

Entering the Pilot House from the galley there is a door that can be closed in order to isolatethe Pilot House from the galley and main salon for night time cruising, just inside thepilothouse to starboard there is a U-Line wine cooler and to port is the ships printer housed in acabinet with a pull out self. The Pilot house has a large U shaped settee upholstered in beigeleather with navy blue piping and high gloss teak table with inlay burl design. Above the setteeon the bulkhead there are display/book shelves with brass sconces on both sides and under thesettee there are drawers. The side deck windows are fitted with Hunter Douglass Country Woodswide wood blinds. There are two Crown Limited Mariner electric helm chairs upholstered in navyblue Ultra Leather. Overhead the ceiling is cherry coffered with rich detail and high gloss finish.There are water tight doors port and starboard to the side decks, each fitted with phantomscreens. There is wood detailing on the inside of the doors and high gloss finish. On thestarboard side of the Pilot House there are stairs up to the Fly Bridge. There is storage underthe first two step treads plus a cabinet and drawers under the stair case.

Mounted in the console there are three (3) 19” Raymarine monitors plus one standaloneRaymarine E120 navigation/radar system for navigation and radar back up. Outboard of theE120 is the KVH GyroTrac monitor/display. At the helm there are two Caterpillar electronicengine displays, Raymarine ST8002 Autopilot control, Twin Disc Quick Shift engine controlswith Trolling speed option, Carlisle & Finch searchlight joystick control, Command centerkeyboard, Exalto windshield wiper controls, ABT Bow and Stern thruster variable speed controls,Raymarine ST290 rudder angle indicator, two ST290 Raymarine graphic displays, Maxwellwindlass control with chain counter, back up engine controls, fully integrated AIS, Hart SystemsTank Tender for all tanks with tank table, and FCI Watermakers “Max Q” remote controlmodule. There is also to the right of the helm seat a built in binoculars holder. Heartbeat is alsoequipped with a Satellite phone, Raymarine VHF, Magellan monitoring and security system,standalone stereo system with CD player, tank sentry, Ships Status Display, ABT/TRACStabilizer control and pump selector, ACR “Global Fix” 406 Epirb, DC and AC breaker panels.There is a Yacht Controller wireless hand held system that provides full control for engines andthrusters from anywhere on board. Center line on the console is the lighted DanforthConstellation Ships Compass. There is also night time running overhead red lighting and charttable lighting. There is a digital air-conditioning control dedicated to the pilot house.

Master and Guest StateroomsMaster and Guest Staterooms

The Master Stateroom can be accessed from two different directions, either from the stairs inthe forward Starboard side of the salon or down the stairs from the Pilot House and then aft. Itis a full beam master with king size bed with ample storage throughout. There is a Sharp 32’LCD TV, NAD Sound System, a pair of SpeakerCraft wall mounted speakers with custom woodgrills and Crestron Prodigy integrated remote control system. There is a mirror over the masterking size bed headboard. The owners opted for the Jacuzzi style tub/shower combo with glassenclosure. There are two under mount china bowl sinks in a marble counter top and theHeadhunter toilet is in a separate room. The floors are marble and there are custom medicine/storage cabinets behind the mirrors. The owners also chose to make what would have been a

large walk in closet into the fourth guest stateroom with bunk beds, closet and drawers for thegrand kids. This cabin is fitted with a NAD Sound System, two SpeakerCraft overhead speakers,LG TV and Crestron Prodigy integrated remote control system. It is immediately to starboardgoing forward from the master. This space could easily revert back to a walk in closet should anew owner wish.

The twin bed cabin is the next cabin to port going forward, it has two twin size beds, a closetand head with teak and holly flooring, Headhunter toilet, large shower with marble tile flooringand marble counter top with under mount china bowl sink. The stateroom also has a NADSound System, two SpeakerCraft overhead speakers, LG TV and Crestron Prodigy integratedremote control system. This cabin is fitted with shoji screens.

The VIP cabin is all the way forward and offers a center line queen bed, two hanging lockers,ample drawers and a large overhead hatch. It has a NAD Sound System, two SpeakerCraftoverhead speakers, LG TV and Crestron Prodigy integrated remote control system. There is ahead to starboard with Headhunter toilet, marble counter tops, under mount china bowl sinkand teak and holly flooring and a spacious shower with marble tile flooring. This cabin is fittedwith shoji screens.

All staterooms have individual digital air conditioning controls, dimmable lighting and there arereading lights for each bed.

Forward HallwayForward Hallway

Going forward from the Master Stateroom on the wall there are wood trim details and a largeframed map of the Bahamas and Caribbean to port. On starboard there is bunk room door thenlinen closet follow by a closet containing the forward Asko stacked front load washer and dryer.Below the teak and holly flooring is the 200 gallon Holding Tank, Headhunter 110 vac Makol 1and 24 vdc Excalibur fresh water pumps, Headhunter ozone generator for the holding tank andfresh water tank aft below the master stateroom floor. This is also a valuable space to storelarge bulky items like luggage. This area below deck as well as all areas below deck is lightedand ventilated.

Crews Quarters, Aft Laundry and Utility RoomCrews Quarters, Aft Laundry and Utility Room

Aft of the engine room is the crew space complete with its on galley/ lounge plus laundry/storage area to port and sleeping cabin and head to starboard. This space can be accessed fromeither the aft swim deck or from the engine room. The grew galley is equipped with a WolfInduction cook top, Kitchen Aid Microwave Oven with cooktop vent, Sub Zero under counterrefrigerator, granite counter tops and S/S sink with butcher block cover. The galley area also hasits own NAD Sound System, overhead speakers, LG TV and Crestron Prodigy integrated remotecontrol system. Aft of the crew galley space there is also a separate laundry room with sink andfront loading Asko washer and dryer, storage space, access to below the swim deck and two SubZero freezer drawers. This aft storage area houses the vessels Nutone central vacuum systemwhich offers connection outlets throughout the vessel, aft Glendinning hose real and shipssteering gear.

The crew stateroom has a queen size bed athwart ship, small desk, double hanging lockers, fivelarge deep drawers, book shelves, storage cabinets built in LG TV and a divided crew bath with

sink and shower in one compartment and the Tecma toilet in a separate room that can also beaccessed from the hallway. There is a marble counter top and under mount china sink in thecrew bath and stall shower with marble tile flooring and bench seat.

Throughout the entire space there are teak and holly floors, amble storage space and two zonesof AC. All overhead lighting is dimmable and the space is finished to match the rest of thevessel in fit and finish, décor and style so that either your crew or quest will be very comfortablein this space.

Fore DeckFore Deck

Forward of the pilot house there is a Portuguese Bridge with varnished teak cap rails, there isstorage on the back side and forward on centerline there is a built in settee upholstered in navyblue Sunbrella with red piping with storage underneath. On the foredeck there are shore powerconnections for two 50 amp shore power cord (one is on a Glendinning Cable Master with 75 ‘ofcord and the other if for the manual shore power cord). The custom ships bell is chrome overbronze and is mounted in the center of this area. Forward is the 70 KG (154 lb) S/S shipsanchor and Maxwell 4000 Hydraulic anchor windlass with up/down foot switch controls and ahand held remote control. There is 350 feet of 1/2" chain. There are also windlass controls inthe PH and on the FB with chain counters. Either side of the anchor is deck access to the chainlocker. There are wash down hose connections for salt water or fresh water There is also a largeopening deck hatch that is in the VIP cabin. Above the foredeck is the Carlisle & Finch Searchlight (1.5 million candle power) mounted on the brow in front of the Fly Bridge helm. There areTextiline sunshade covers for the pilot house windows and navy blue Sunbrella covers for theforedeck settee and ships bell.

Aft Deck and Swim PlatformAft Deck and Swim Platform

There are opening gates port and starboard to the aft deck that swing inward and lock. Centerline on the aft deck is a large teak high gloss dining table with inlay design with comfortableseating for up to a party of 10. The aft settee is upholstered in navy blue Sunbrella with redpiping. Facing aft from the forward bulkhead is an under counter S/S refrigerator and S/S clearice maker, both U-Line Echelon Series. On the starboard side there is a built in sink andstorage cabinet. Wing doors to the side decks are port and starboard. There is a total of sixWestminster folding teak deck chairs finished with high gloss varnish on board that are dividedbetween the aft deck and fly bridge. The port and starboard aft deck corners have customdesigned dock line handling compartments each fitted with a 24V DC Maxwell 1500 linehandling winch with foot switch. Overhead there is dimmable lighting and speakers that are offthe main salon entertainment system. In addition, there is a plug in location for hand heldengine control remote module. On the port side of the aft deck refrigerator there is a stair casethat leads up to the boat deck. There is a Marquipt 7 step sea stair boarding ladder with teaktreads and single varnished teak capped hand rail. The sea stair is stored on the port side deckwhen not in use and has a navy blue Sunbrella cover. Additionally there are navy blue Sunbrellacovers for the aft deck settee and teak chairs.

Aft there are bulwark gates port and starboard leading down to the swim deck where there is asubstantial well built in swim ladder that folds out from under the deck, hose storagecompartment with fresh water supply, aft deck hand held hot and cold water shower and aftshore side electrical/TV/phone/water connections. On centerline there is a water tight door to the

crews quarters. There are stern docking lights built in facing aft to light up the swim deck atnight. The S/S Swim Platform railing has an opening gate in the middle. Dual staircases leadback to the aft deck. There are Six (6) Abyss Star Fish 24 vdc high intensity LED underwaterlights facing aft mounted below the water line that were added in 2014.

Fly BridgeFly Bridge

Up the stairs that are on starboard from the Pilot house you access a full beam width Fly Bridgewith full teak decks. This space is quite large, fully under the cover of the hard top that has afull enclosure of EZ2CY and Eisen glass with panels that can be opened. Overhead there are the8 standard lights plus an additional 9 specialty lights added for specific lighting options. Thereare two L shaped navy blue Sunbrella upholstered settees with red piping and storage beneath.There are two hi/lo adjustable varnished table tops on the Fly Bridge, both with matching inlaydesigns. The port side has two table tops available for use, one matches the starboard table topand the other is a larger table that was obtained which allows a party of 8 to dine or play tablegames. The dumb waiter from the galley is accessed at the end of the port side settee. Thereare two Crown Limited Mariner helm chairs with S/S pedestals upholstered in white UltraLeather. Going aft on the center line two steps down from the Fly Bridge yet still under the hardtop there is the outdoor kitchen to starboard and large storage compartments to port. Theoutdoor kitchen is fitted with a Cal Flame S/S electric BBQ grill, Wolf 2 burner induction cooktop, U-Line Refrigerator with ice maker, and large deep sink built into a compartment withstorage underneath. This area is divided from the boat deck with bulwarks that have varnishedteak cap rails and S/S deck railing that can be closed. There are navy blue Sunbrella covers forthe settees, BBQ grill, two helm chairs and console.

The Fly Bridge console houses two Raymarine 19” monitors, Caterpillar engine displays, AutoPilot Control, Bow and Stern Thruster Joy Stick controls, Search Light Joystick control, TwinDisc Shifters with Trolling speed option, Maxwell windlass control with chain counter, bilgealarm indicator, Flir camera controls, three ST290 Raymarine graphic displays, Raymarine VHF,Trac Stabilizer status display, ABT hydraulic pump selector switch panel, exterior lightswitches, temperature gauge, horn push button, engine start/stops, Command center keyboardand lighted Danforth Constellation Ships compass . Visibility from this helm station is excellentin all conditions and directions.

Boat DeckBoat Deck

This is the only exterior deck on Heartbeat that is not covered in teak, the decks have a beigenon-skid texture. There is a Brower Systems 2000 pound hydraulic davit mounted on thecenterline on a pyramid base for port or starboard dingy/bike/motor scooter launch & retrievaloperations. This system was designed with extensive rail to rail reinforcement to providestructural integrity for the crane. On the crane arm there is a custom designed fiberglass barmounted to the top of the crane arm plus four S/S bar stools with T backs to the port side of thecrane arm that were added in 2011. This creates one of the best and most popular gatheringareas on Heartbeat. The space to the starboard side of the crane is designated for dingy storage.There is room for up to a 17 foot dingy. There are two teak classic steamer lounge chairs in highgloss varnish facing aft on the center line. Deck sockets were added for attachment points forhardware used for securing bikes, motor scooters, etc. There is S/S railing around the deck

hatch to the lower aft deck. Also on the port side there is a S/S ladder to the roof of the hardtop. This area houses the two 8 man life rafts, Kalenburg D-3 horns, ships mast, two open radararrays, Flir camera, antennas and satellite communications gear. There is also ample room tostow kayaks if needed.

Engine RoomEngine Room

The engine room provides full stand up head room, air conditioning and houses the CaterpillarC-12 705 HP engines each fitted with a Twin Disc MGX 5114A marine gear. Each engine isfitted with a Balmar 190 amp alternator controlled by the Balmar Max Charge system. There aretwo Northern Lights 30kw generators aft in the engine room with a FCI Watermakers “Max Q”1800 gallon per day water maker mounted above the port generator. The Cruisair Chilled Loopair-conditioning system with twin chillers and Motion Industries hydraulic power supply for theBrower Systems crane is installed above the starboard generator. There are dual selectable rawwater air conditioning pumps mounted below the starboard engine.

Heartbeat is equipped with ABT/TRAC Zero Speed Stabilizers (American Bow Thruster), ABTHydraulic Bow and Stern Thruster pumps and upgraded Hydraulic Power Steering. Thestabilizers use the “Star Pump”, a separate Bosch electric motor that drives a hydraulic pumpto operate the zero speed stabilizers. Twin 5kw Victron Energy 24-5000-120 inverters andchargers are mounted on the forward bulkhead and there are pilot house mounted controls forvariable charging. Two A/SEA Shore Power converters (AC12’s in parallel) are mounter on theforward bulkhead all the way to port. There are Twelve (12) house bank batteries, four enginestart batteries and two generator start batteries. The house and engine start batteries areLifeline 8DL-255 amp hour AGM glass matt batteries, the generator start batteries are LifelineAGM 31-T 105 amp hour batteries. Separate Victron Energy 24 and 12 volt Battery chargersmaintain the engine start and generator start batteries.

Dual selectable Racor 75/1000’s are dedicated to each main engine and a single Racor 75/1000 is dedicated to each generator. There is a separate pair of Racor 75/1000’s that are in-line and used for filtration during all fuel transfers. There are five (5) Diesel Tex fuel polishingunits installed in line, one for each engine, one for each generator and one for the fuel transfersystem. All machinery is plumbed for easy oil changes via a Reverso oil change system andthere is a fuel management manifold system for the transferring/management of fuel via theFill-Rite transfer pump. There are two 1000 gallon day tanks in the engine room, overheadfluorescent AC and DC lighting and engine room camera. There is a FireBoy engine roomautomatic fire suppression system that controls the engine room ventilation system. Also thereare two large sea chests for all sea water intake and raw water discharge from the air-conditioning system, this eliminates noisy hull side water discharge. There are Four (4) 24 vdcDelta T engine room blowers that provide fresh air in and two (2) 24 vdc Delta T engine roomexhaust blowers. There are custom S/S engine guards with shelves over each engine, the shipstool box is mounted over the port engine. Forward in the engine room is a S/S work bench withS/S sink. A work vice is mounted to the work bench and a fresh water hose bib located nearby.Both engine room doors are water tight and fitted with a sight glass. The forward and aft engineroom bulkheads are water tight.

Heartbeat is designed to cruise extensively in fair weather utilizing the Victron Energy Inverterswithout having to use either generator and can easily anchor out for more than a day without

concerns for re-charging the house bank of batteries. There is a good supply of spare parts andsupply items that transfer with the vessel.
