Outcomes & Objectives
Objectives To use the evidence you’ve gathered and your own
theories to analyse the suspect profiles and decide who was the most likely person to have been guilty.
To produce a piece of structured, persuasive writing arguing for the guilt of one of the main suspects.
Outcomes1. Read each of the suspect profiles, whether on the Word
documents or by clicking on the hyperlinks. 2. Complete summary sheets on the three most likely
suspects, including a picture and four or five bullet-points stating the key pieces of evidence showing their guilt.
3. Produce a piece of structured writing to persuade readers of who you think Jack the Ripper was, using the writing frames provided. Remember to back up your argument with strong evidence.

Introduction Tell the reader who it is you are going
to prove is Jack the Ripper.
Main Argument Choose the three most important
pieces of evidence that show this suspect is guilty.
Conclusion Summarise; how does all this evidence
fit into the case? How does it link to your own theories? And what do you think was his motive for the murders?
