SECOND COLLECTION NEXT WEEKEND
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY Our beloved Holy Father, Pope Francis, has shown himself to be a great teacher with the heart of a Missionary. In every nation, World Mission Sunday will be observed on the weekend of October 19-20. This essential observance is an experience in learning for us all. It is a time for us to be inspired by the priests, Religious & Lay Missionary groups that make it possible for the most needy to encounter Christ, the Sacraments, and living Work of God, and thereby to live in hope of heaven. The theme for the United States’ observance of this day is: “DO GOOD ON EARTH.” The kingdom of God begins here and now.
MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER WEEKEND
“Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.” What has God said to you about enriching your marriage? The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend is Nov 15-17 in Elverson. Early registration is highly recommended. For more information visit our website at: www.wwme-philly.org or contact Al & Mary Liz Heumann at [email protected] or 610-449-1859.
