Helmed by LEONG KHAI GIT, who was nominated Rising Chef of the Year 2015 in the World Gourmet Summit, he flew to Greece, personally tasting and soaking in its colourful culture and rich history. Deeply moved and impressed by its authentic flavours and quality produce, Khai Git formed a partnership with two Greeks and assembled a Greek kitchen team to open ALATI. Today, ALATI, or salt from the ancient Greek word ἅλας, takes great pride in serving only the freshest produce wild-caught at the Aegean Sea. Donning its traditional uniform of blue and white, the restaurant with an ambience reminiscent of Cyclades proudly opened its doors for business on 30th September, 2015. Everything in the menu, from the meat to the pastry to the bread, are made painstakingly and meticulously by hand.
