Safety FirstYou must complete a

pre-lab prior to starting any lab. Open packets to

p28.

Title: Measurement Inquiry

Purpose: To determine the rule(s) for

measuring

Safety: Do not touch anything! Just observe the measurements.

If you are touching something you must have goggles and closed toed shoes!

Procedure:

1. With your partner walk around the six stations and take measurements in your data table.

Note: Make all measurements as accurately as the instrument allows and label all numbers with appropriate units.

2. When finished write the data on the board to determine class data

You will follow this pre-lab procedure for every lab we do. Without it you are not doing the

lab and will lost points!
