Ministry Highlight

WOE Bible Study Kick-Off September 7 @ 6:30pm

Join us on Wednesday, September 7 at 6:30pm for a night of fellowship and fun. We are excited about what God is going to do this year in the hearts of the women in our church and desire that you come to this very special gathering to hear what we have planned for the rest of 2016 and the spring of 2017.  We will be meeting in the Worship Center and desserts will be provided. You will be able to drop your kids off at WOL and 220 while you come to the WOE Kickoff.

Are you looking for a way to build close relationships with other believers? Are you eager to better understand God’s Word and how it applies to your life? Do you have a desire for regular encouragement, support, and accountability? Do you want to grow spiritually?

Then you need to be part of a Grow Group.

Our Grow Group ministry is designed to effectively shepherd and disciple everyone who considers LBC their home. It is our desire to create a context where four things can happen:

CONNECT help people build close, edifying relationships

COUNSEL help people understand and apply God’s Word to their lives

CHANGE help people along the path of spiritual maturity

CARE help people to practice the “one anothers” of Scripture

There is no better way to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ than by being in a dynamic discipleship environment provided by a Grow Group.

LBC Kids Ministry We have more service opportunities in the LBC Kids Ministry. We presently have the following immediate needs:

• Caregivers for the Nursery once every 5 weeks during Equipping Hour.

• Caregivers for the Nursery once every 5 weeks during the Worship Service.

• Caregivers for the Toddlers once every 5 weeks during Equipping Hour.

• Caregivers for the Toddlers once every 5 weeks during the Worship Service.

• A teaching team for the Pre-School class once every 5 weeks during the Worship Service.

• 3 teaching teams in the Pre-K class once every 5 weeks during the Worship Service

• A teaching team for the Kindergarten class each week during Equipping Hour

• A teaching Partner for the Kindergarten class once every 5 weeks during Children’s Church

• Substitutes we can call on as needed

Please prayerfully consider jumping in to help care for and shepherd the souls of all the children God has blessed us with here at LBC.

Benevolence If you would like to help meet the needs within our body for those who are experiencing financial difficulties, please indicate “benevolence” with your contribution. If you are aware of any specific benevolence needs within the body please contact the following Deacons;  Donald Avery, Eric Presley, or Mark Sanderson.

Word Of Life Sign Up September 7

Word Of Life is our Wednesday night Children’s Program for Pre-K through 6th Grade that runs during the school year. The goal is to evangelize and disciple children by focusing on three primary areas in a child’s life -- Quiet Time, Scripture Memory, and Christian Service. We encourage every parent to have their children involved in WOL this coming Fall.
