Marketing and communication 9. Information technology 10. Volunteer management & partnerships Scope of Work 1. OVERVIEW MEETING WITH DIRECTOR [1 hour]. Establish goals of organizational assessment. Identify priority issues to be addressed in assessment. Identify background material to be provided to Dusenbury Consulting (current budget, org chart, relevant plans, policies & procedures, outcome-based metrics). Identify stakeholders that should be represented in the interview process. DELIVERABLE: Refined scope of work with timetable for completing tasks. 2. REVIEW DOCUMENTS AND IT INFRASTRUCTURE [8 hours] Read and assess strategic plan, policies & procedures, marketing materials, web site, social media, CRM application, Memoranda of Understanding, facilities plan, master plan, budget and other items identified in Overview Meeting. 3. CONDUCT STAKEHOLDER INTERVIEWS [12 hours]. Dusenbury Consulting will conduct phone or in-person interviews with the following stakeholders: 1. Agency Director [30-60 minutes] 2. Director’s Supervisor [30-60 minutes] 3. Elected Officials [15-30 minutes each] 4. Staff [30 minutes each] (4-6) 5. Customers [30 minutes each] (3-5) 6. Partners [30 minutes each] (3-5) 4. SITE VISITS [6 hours]: Dusenbury Consulting will conduct site visits of representative park and recreation facilities. Anticipate 2-4 parks and 2-4 recreational facilities. 5. DATA ANALYSIS [5 hours]. Dusenbury Consulting will review jurisdictional demographics, participant demographics, jurisdictional geography, industry competition.

Objective – Dusenbury Consulting, LLC will conduct an organizational assessment for the Parks and Recreation Department of [JURISDICTION]. The Organizational Assessment will analyze the agency’s strengths, opportunities and threats in the following areas:

Scope of Work –

1. OVERVIEW MEETING WITH DIRECTOR [1 hour]. Establish goals of organizational assessment. Identify priority issues to be addressed in assessment. 5. DATA ANALYSIS [5 hours]. Dusenbury Consulting will review jurisdictional demographics, participant demographics, jurisdictional geography, industry competition.

6. COMPLETE DRAFT ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT DELIVERABLE: Dusenbury Consulting will provide an electronic copy of a draft organizational assessment to agency director for review and feedback.

7. MEET WITH DIRECTOR TO REVIEW DRAFT [1 hour]. Dusenbury Consulting will meet with the agency Director to review the draft organizational assessment. Dusenbury Consulting will document feedback and note requested changes to be incorporated into final document.

8. COMPLETE FINAL ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT DELIVERABLE: Dusenbury Consulting will provide an electronic copy and one written copy of the final organizational assessment to the Agency Director.

Schedule – Subject to the schedule for stakeholder interviews. Dusenbury Consulting will provide a draft assessment within four weeks of the start of the project, and a final assessment within six weeks of project start.

Price – Dusenbury Consulting will complete the scope of work for a flat rate of $5,000 at no charge to client.

Acceptance – parties indicate their acceptance of these terms by signing below.
