R NOTE : The motor flow during the test is approximately 118 l.min ____R (31.1720 USgal.mn) +/- 8 l.min (2.1133 USgal.mn) at 206R bar (2987.7766 psi). For the function test of theR RAT-governor, the motor flow will increase. Thus the capacity of the ground power cart must be 140 l.min (36.9837 USgal.mn) at 206 bar (2987.7766 psi). If the hydraulic ground-power cart has an adjustable flow

control, it must be set to the max. flow during the complete test.

    (e) If the CHECK - MOTOR GROUND, RAT has an adjustment valve, make sure that the valve is in the fully open position.

    (2) Installation of the RAT Flow Control Test Kit.

    Q. Inspection of the RAT after the Functional Test

    (1) Examine the RAT and make sure that: - the differential pressure indicator is in the in position

NOTE : If the differential pressure indicator is popped out, replace ____ it with a new filter (Ref. TASK 29-22-51-000-013) and (Ref. TASK 29-22-51-400-013).

    (2) Examine the RAT pump/gearbox splitline and the drain plug of the RAT gearbox for external leakage. Make sure that the external leakage is not more than: 60 drops an hour when the RAT is in operation, 2 drops an hour when the RAT is not in operation.

NOTE : The given values are only for the RAT pump/gearbox splitline ____ and the drain plug and not for the hydraulic connections. If you are not sure of the source of the leaks you must pressurize the Blue hydraulic system with 3000 psi and examine the hydraulic connections and its related components.
