Problem StatementAt the hospital, Central Sterile
Processing prepares instruments for the operating rooms to be used throughout the day.
Sometimes, additional or different instruments are needed, requiring nurses to call CSP, sometimes so much that the phone lines are completely tied up.
Need a better form of communicating and logging requests.
Intended SolutionCreate a program to manage these
requests in a digital formatThis program will have nurses create
the requests, while Central Sterile Processing(CSP) can update the status of the instrument throughout its cleaning process.
This program will organize the requests as well for CSP staff, helping them increase their work efficiency.
