The Supplier Support Committee (SSC) was called to order at 5:00 PM by Tom Newton.

Tom Newton presented. Bill Heeter was presented an appreciation award from the SSC leadership team. The SSC thanked Bill Heeter for his work as Chair of the Communications sub-team.

Supplier Survey Results – Brainstorming Session

o How can we increase attendance at Nadcap Meetings?

Discount on Audit Cost for suppliers that attend. Spread out meeting locations to decrease costs. Template to present to supplier management to demonstrate value and justify

attendance. Newsletter/Testimonies to promote meetings. Set up telecommunication/virtual meetings. Use auditors and Primes to promote attendance. Cut the length to 3 days. Process focus. Identify types of suppliers that attend and focus on those groups who do not. Larger block of hotel rooms. Identify local activities. Post agendas earlier with value gained by attending. Identify which supplier functions should attend.

o How can we increase attendance at the SSC meeting?

Have it over lunch. Email reminders. Offer as a networking event/reception. Identify specific topics in pre-event emails. Change to be during the closed meetings on Monday. Official invitation letter. Distribute attendance list to everyone. Bigger meeting room. Cut meeting length. Make meeting more interactive (breakout sessions) Increase exposure of SSC meeting at other meetings. Start earlier. Have each TG task their Subscribers to attend. Have SSC LT present at each Task Group.

o How can we clarify the Task Group Metrics?

Promote/Define what the metrics are. Use dictionary to describe metrics. Include a metric that the supplier can score. Standardize how they are presented. Send out before each meeting. Location of where the metrics are in eAuditNet. How important are the metrics to suppliers. Email tutorial on metrics. Simplify the metrics

o How can we enhance the value of SSC communication to the supplier

Local/Regional chapters for local summary presentations of recent Nadcap Meetings. Offer more technical assistance. Liaison between TG suppliers and TG leadership (SSC TG Rep)

Define technical line better. Examples of accomplishments. Identify what the SSC does. Post SSC Agenda. Make presentations more visual.

Distribute lessons learned.

4.0 SUPPLIER NEWS

Tom Newton presented.

4.1 New SSC Vision Statement, Core Values and Guiding Principles were presented.

4.2 Mentoring Form

Reviewed new form that is available for suppliers to rerquest a mentor and allow the SSC, PRI and Mentor to understand the scope of assistance needed.

4.3 SSC Request Form

Reviewed new form available for suppliers to request SSC action on various topics. This form includes requirements for the requestor to explain the scope and justify the action.

4.4 Retraction of Supplier Advisory

Automatic retraction now in place if the supplier has won an appeal of the issue.

4.5 End-of-Audit Feedback

The process now includes a voluntary survey to rate the complete process.

5.0 MEDACCRED UPDATE

Joe Pinto presented. Nadcap is recognized for the Aerospace work it performs and has been approached by other industries. Implementing Nadcap style process for Medical devices.
