1.0 OPENING COMMENTS

1.1 Call to Order / Quorum Check

The Nadcap Management Council (NMC) Metrics Committee was called to order at 10:30 a.m., 22-Oct-14.

The meeting was restricted to Sub-Team members as well as NMC members and invited guests.

A quorum was established with the following representatives in attendance:

1.2 Nicolis Barthelemy, Erika Crow, Arne Logan, Andrew McClelland, Frank McManus, Eric Saillard, Tatsako Suzuki, and Len Tidwell were recognized as invited guests of the Chairperson.

1.3 Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

Motion was made by Mark Rechtsteiner to approve the minutes from 24-Jun-2014 as written. Motion was seconded by Richard Blyth and passed unanimously.

2.0 REVIEW METRICS COMMITTEE CHARTER, CURRENT MEMBERSHIP STATUS

The attached NMC Metrics Team Charter was reviewed. Tom Newton was added to the NMC Metrics Committee membership.

3.0 RAIL

The attached Rolling Action Item List (RAIL) was reviewed. There were two open action items (MCA-62, MCA-63) which were closed at this meeting (see item #5 below). Glenn reported that the Metrics Way Forward sub-team had a meeting that resulted in an action to present a metrics tutorial during the NMC Steering committee meeting in October before any new metrics were considered. This action was completed.

4.0 REVIEW NMC/BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S (BOD) METRICS

The attached BoD Metrics were reviewed. All metrics are “green”. The NMC Metrics Committee also agreed to maintain the current metrics goals through 2015.

5.0 TASK GROUP METRICS SUMMARY REVIEW [MCA-62]

The NMC Metrics Committee reviewed the attached Task Group Metrics Summary for the September 2014 metrics. Glenn Shultz and Richard Blyth (incoming Metrics Committee Chair) will begin reviewing this summary monthly and request the task groups to provide explanations for any metrics that are yellow or red and cannot readily be explained. Also, Mark Aubele will ask each task group to report out on their metrics (especially any yellow or red metrics) during the Planning and Operations meeting.

6.0 NADCAP UPDATE

The team reviewed Scott Klavon’s Nadcap Update presentation.

7.0 EFFECTIVENESS & CUSTOMER SATISFACTION UPDATE

Pascal Blondet provided a review of the Nadcap Effectiveness team’s accomplishments.

Joanna Leigh provided a detailed plan regarding the method that will be used to survey the Nadcap program stakeholders. The surveys will begin in Q1 2015 and will be reissued every two years.

The NMC Metrics committee sunsetted the Nadcap Effectiveness team.

8.0 NEW BUSINESS REVIEW

No new business was raised.

9.0 NEW ACTION ITEMS

New action items were reviewed.

10.0 MEETING FACILITATION FEEDBACK

There were no suggestions to improve the meeting.

11.0 ADJOURNMENT – 20-OCT-2014

Meeting was adjourned at 11:35 am.
