1 Q: What browsers support the online payment portal? A: You will need to use current versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer to access the online payment portal. Q: Will I still be able to access my Parent home page or is that new too? A: You will still access your home page the same way. The only difference is that once you click on the “Make a Payment” button, you will be directed into the new payment system. Q: Will I still have the same credit card options available in the new payment system? A: Yes, you will still be able to make payments using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or electronic checks. Q: Is the payment system secure? A: Yes. Recommended security technology and procedures are used throughout our system. All financial transactions are encrypted and processed through state-of-the-art financial networks, which are the same networks used by many retail locations. Q: Why do I have to pay online? A: There are many advantages to paying your tuition online, but ease of use is the biggest benefit. You can make your tuition payment comfortably wherever you have Internet access – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also set up automatic, recurring payments, so you don’t have to worry about making payments on time. Q: Will I still be required to pay the full amount for my tuition? A: Yes, though if you pay less than the full balance due, the account may be subject to late payment fees and potential disenrollment. Q: What is the difference between recurring payments and scheduling future payments? A: Recurring payments are set up once and create a schedule of payments in the future. Future payments are scheduled one at a time through the one-time payment feature by selecting future dates. Q: Why would I want to use the recurring payment feature? A: Recurring payments save time. You set it up, decide the duration, and can turn it off at any time. Recurring payments eliminate the need to initiate a payment each time tuition is due and prevent late payment charges because the payments are made automatically. Questions? ONLINE PAYMENT PORTAL Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I pay the full balance with multiple cards? A: Yes. You can split the payment between multiple cards or electronic checks in the payment portal.

Q: Will the system force me to store my credit card information?A: Yes, it must be stored. The benefit to this is that once the card is stored, it only takes a few clicks to make a

payment. Please note that your information is safe. We utilize state of the art encryption and security to protect our families.

Q: Can I pay a specific amount each week on a recurring basis? A: As a Primary Sponsor, no. By setting up a recurring payment, you will be authorizing Champions to pull the total

amount due each Monday, which will require you to manage your online calendar. As a Secondary Sponsor, yes. You can determine how much you want to pay each week and set up a recurring, fixed amount. Please keep in mind that tuition is affected by multiple factors (Early Release/Late Start/Drop-In/Full-Day Fees, etc.), and your fixed amount may not satisfy the full balance due each week.

Q: Can I postdate or schedule a future payment? A: Yes, with the understanding that future payments will not resolve or reverse any potential late fees, disenrollment,

or penalties, nor will they be automatically deleted with your child’s disenrollment. Please make sure you’re managing the payment functions in the “Scheduled Payment” option of the payment processing page. To postdate or schedule a future payment:

1. Click on “Make a Payment”. 2. Enter desired amount and select the future date. 3. This future payment can be viewed in the “Scheduled Payments” field of the payment processing screen.

Q: Will my recurring payment and future scheduled payments be deducted at the same time? A: The recurring payment will process the total balance due on your account, so future payments may not be needed

when your account is set up in this manner. However, should you choose to use the “Scheduled Payments” feature, any amount paid when the account has a zero balance (nothing due at the time of processing) will remain as a credit on your account until the tuition is invoiced.

Q: Will my future payments be deleted if my child is withdrawn or disenrolled for non-payment? A: No. Please delete or remove any future scheduled payments to avoid processing.

ONLINE PAYMENT PORTAL Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I give access to other people to make payments?A: Yes. You are able to set up additional people (co-sponsors) to make payments on your account. However, you are

still the primary account holder and are responsible for all tuition payments, no matter who else is authorized to help make payments. As the primary sponsor, you are responsible for any returned payment fees posted to the account, even if those fees were incurred due to a co-sponsor’s returned payment. To set up a Secondary Sponsor:

1. From the Parent (Horizon) home page, click “Add Sponsor” in the Additional Sponsor section on the right-hand side.

2. Complete the personal information, permissions, and contact information sections.3. Click “Save.”

An email will be sent to this individual so they can register with Champions.

Q: What is an electronically processed check payment?A: An electronically processed check is an online payment made using your bank account and routing numbers. You

can make an electronic check payment using a checking or savings account.

Q: Can I pay using my FSA (Flexible Spending Account)? A: If your FSA is set up through MasterCard, Visa, or Discover, then you can pay using your FSA. You can store

these methods of payment by clicking on “Make a Payment” in the Financial Summary box of your account. You may find that your FSA cannot pay us directly if you have not been issued a card that is one of our accepted payment methods. Please contact your FSA provider for reimbursement if your method of payment is not one we accept. There are FSA statements and individual invoices available in the “View Statements, Invoices and Payment Accounts” section of the Financial Summary box to help you submit proof of services and request reimbursement.

Q: Do I have to make a payment to officially enroll? A: No. While payment is due upon enrollment, the enrollment is complete once you’ve finished the last step of the

enrollment process, not when payment is received. Invoices will be determined by the online schedule you create.
