Employment 2016 (Summer – Fall season) Cabin Attendant Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Schiphol During the summer of 2016 I was hired as a so-called “zomer CA” at the Royal Dutch Airline for a period of 4,5 months. As a cabin attendant at the Royal Dutch Airlines I am responsible for the passenger’s safety on board. Airline & airport safety procedures, aircraft safety procedures (B737 and Airbus 330), First aid, fire fighting, managing with different cultures, speaking foreign languages and giving excellent service at the same time are just a few of the requirements a Cabin Attendant at a prestigious International airline needs. 2013 - present Communication Specialist Constansia Consultancy, Curaçao As owner of my own company I am responsible for attracting new clients as well as running business. The main business activity is executing internal communication audits within companies. According to the outcome I will set up an internal communication policy ‘blue print’ custom made for the company and also carry out the responsibilities for the successful execution of this policy. I am convinced that the level of success of a company starts from within and can be reached through good internal communication. Besides internal communication, I also provide relationship management, marketing communication services (design and execution of marketing campaigns) and project managing services (diverse field). 2013 - 2015 Marketing Officer Banco di Caribe, Curaçao As a Marketing Officer at Banco di Caribe I was responsible for the marketing of the products Banco di Caribe carries in their portfolio. For example Personal Loans, Mortgages, Credit Cards accounts, savings accounts etc. Brainstorming, creating and coordinating new campaigns, setting up car shows, organizing events for our clients (retail, vip and corporate) are just a few of the many things I was responsible for. I worked closely with our management and was also responsible for the markets in St. Maarten and Bonaire. As a Marketing Officer I had the responsibility of leading the project teams, coordinating the projects and monitoring the results. 2011 - 2013 Marketing Associate Heineken, Amstel & Amstel Bright Distribier NV (De Driehoek), Curaçao As a Marketing Associate at Distribier I was responsible for the beer brands Heineken, Amstel & Amstel Bright. I had several responsibilities related to each brand such as brand promotion, event organization, sponsorship management, media handling, PR- spokesperson and management assistant. I have attended several Heineken Americas meetings in the region where I represented the markets of Curacao and Bonaire and held presentations about our presence in the local beer market. I was also responsible for the sales department where I worked closely with the different sales account managers evaluating existing clients, managing their accounts and gathering new clients. This resume reflects my flexible nature and hands-on ability to function in different environments. Going thru my employment history you see a history of working closely with different kind of people/ management levels, providing excellent service and working in teams. I have a strong presence on the work floor with a high level of energy, flexibility and availability, high sense of responsibility, positive mindset, hands- on attitude and coaching mentality. Flexibility is of utmost importance to me, but also the ability to draw boundaries. When working in a team I can easily switch position going from team player to team leader and/or motivator. My straight to the point way of thinking, result oriented way of working and decisive attitude are crucial characteristics to successfully fill a position on a highly professional level. I believe my combined nationality, being half Dutch and half “Yu di Korsou” born and raised on Curaçao and professionally formed in the Netherlands, is of great advantage and could be used as an important asset by any company profiling on the local and/or international market.
