Online Bhagavad Gita Classes
About the Classes Online Classes on Bhagavad Gita via Zoom are beginning afresh on the auspicious day of Dussehra/Vijaya Daśamī on October 26, 2020. Each verse of the Gita will be explained in detail. The classes will be fully in English and the explanation will be in keeping with the Advaita tradition and closely adhere to the commentary of Ādi Śankarāchārya. All classes are followed by an interactive Q & A session.
Class Schedule The new cycle of Gita, starts on Oct 26. Classes will be held weekly on Sundays from 6:50-8 AM IST.
The duration of the course is open ended and will be conducted at a leisurely pace. There is no fixed time frame for completion. The present cycle of the Bhagavad Gita that began in January 2017 just concluded.
Swāmī Sarvānanda Saraswatī has had the privilege and blessing to learn from Pujya Śrī Swāmī Dayānanda S a r a s w a t ī a n d S w ā m i n ī Brahmaprakāśānanda Saraswatī for many years at the Ārsha Vidyā Gurukulam, Coimbatore and Ārsha Vijñāna Gurukulam, Nagpur. Swāmīji c o n d u c t s o n l i n e c l a s s e s a n d residential camps on Bhagavad Gītā, Upanishad, Yoga Sūtra and other texts on Advaita Vedānta. He is also well versed in Pāṇinian sanskrit grammar. He is the Founder and Managing Trustee of Ārsha Vidyā Paramparā Trust and resident āchārya at Ātma Vidyā Gurukulam.

Requirements A commitment to participate regularly in the classes for a reasonable length of time.
No knowledge of Sanskrit is expected. And no prior exposure to Bhagavad Gitā or Vedānta is assumed.
