IWA Singapore Airport office is linked to CCN (Cargo Community Network). We have EDI links with the airlines, the Customs & Excise departments and both SATS and CIAS (Ground Handling Terminals).
IWA has a state-of-the-art I.T. system monitoring the entire spectrum of our operations. We also continually enhance our I.T. infrastructure to better performance and improvement of service to you.

SPECIAL RULES & REGULATIONS
It is important that origin office sends Pre-Alert to IWA latest 48 hours before vessel’s arrival in order for IWA to submit the correct cargo manifest.
Should cargo manifest failed to reach the carrier or co-loader before the required time frame, the carrier or co-loader will simply declare data on the MBL to the customs.
Unless data declared are corrected, the consignee could not customs clear the shipment. A fine of min USD25 per DO will be levied by customs for correction of declared data. Under Thai Customs regulations, export shipments must be customs cleared prior to physical
loading into containers and container number is required on customs clearance paperwork. Should there be any discrepancy between the customs clearance documents and carrier’s cargo manifest, the shipper will not get import duty and VAT refund on the imported materials.
Only Customs licensed facilities are allowed to handle CFS shipments and customs clearance could only be performed when the designated container is available at the facility. Once a shipment is customs cleared, it has to be loaded into the container immediately.
Multiple shippers CY loading (bus stop operation) is prohibited under Thai Customs Regulation. Shipments from bonded factories or factories operating inside FTZ/Special Economic Zones are
required to be customs cleared at the factory, once the shipment arrives at the CFS facility, it has to be customs cleared again and must be loaded into containers immediately under customs supervision. No bonded shipment is allowed to be stored on the floor of the facility.
In-transit shipments from Laos are considered bonded shipments, upon arrival to BKK, the shipments have to be inspected by customs at the trans-shipment shed inside the BKK Port prior to be delivered to the CFS facility.
For ocean export shipments that require textile visa or other customs documents, the application could only be submitted after customs clearance because copies of the customs clearance document is one of the required documents, therefore, the No-Doc-No-Ship rule needs to exempt customs documents such as textile visa
Under foreign exchange regulations, a copy of the customs clearance document is required for L/C negotiation, in other words, shippers would not be able to negotiate their L/C prior to shipment being customs cleared.
