• ROADRUNNER INFO: Enjoy the November Roadrunner that was emailed to all who have email. Print copies are available in the Narthex. Please submit articles for the December Roadrunner by November 15th to the church office.

• CHRISTMAS FOR THE TROOPS: We have the opportunity to contribute to this drive sponsored by the Sunset Lions Club of Peoria again this year. There is a box in the Narthex marked for donations. Attached to the box will be lists of requested items. Please note they do not want travel size or warehouse size toiletry items, just regular size. We will collect only until November 12, so check it out and see what you could donate. Thank you for your generosity.

• THANK YOU FROM MARCIA LYNK: “Thank you to everyone for your prayers and

support during JR’s illness and his death. The Lord was so present, and our family is full of praise and thanks. A private memorial will be held at Best Funeral Home on Nov. 24th at 11 AM.”

• VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION BREAKFAST SIGN UP: Today is the LAST day to sign up for a special volunteer breakfast hosted by the Deacons on Thursday, Nov. 9th at 8 AM. Please sign up on the board in front of Alexander Hall if you plan to attend so we have a count for food. All volunteers are welcome and encouraged to attend this special event.

• WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP BAKE SALE: A bake sale will be held during the Arts and Crafts Fair [Nov 17-18].Think holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas when you consider what you can make and bring to the church kitchen on Thursday, Nov. 16th between 10AM-Noon. Items needed are pies (fruit, pecan, pumpkin, etc.), breads of all sizes, small cakes, cookies, or candy. Sugar free and gluten free items are needed. We need workers on Thursday to package and price; Friday and Saturday for 2 hour shifts: 8:30-10:30, 10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:30. Please let me know if you can help -Joyce Dudley 623-256-6402. Pie tins are available on the kitchen counter for your use.

• ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR HELP NEEDED: We need volunteers to help out with the set up/clean up of the Arts & Craft Fair. Please plan to come and help with any of the following days/times:

Nov. 12th After Fellowship—Removing tables/chairs from Alexander Hall

Nov. 13-16 beginning at 8:30 AM—Arranging rectangular tables & chairs

Nov. 18th at 2:30—Clean Up

• THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON TICKETS: We will be hosting a catered Thanksgiving luncheon at noon on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23, 2017) in Alexander Hall. This is the same catering company as last year with a delicious traditional turkey dinner and all the fixings. Tickets will be the same as last year at $20 per person and are on sale Sunday after service in Alexander Hall during fellowship today through Nov. 19th.
