This conference serves as a learning opportunity for providers either practicing or interested in dermatology.

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of OHSU School of Medicine and the Oregon Society of Dermatology Associates. The OHSU School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit: OHSU School of Medicine, Division of CPD, designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses: For the purposes of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). For the purposes of relicensure, the Oregon State Board of Nursing accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for attendance at structured learning activities offered by organizations (in this case: OHSU, Division of CPD) accredited by the ACCME. (OAR 851-050-0142).

Physician Assistants: The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) states that AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM are acceptable for continuing medical education requirements for recertification.

• Feel more comfortable with the differential diagnosis of psoriasis and be knowledgable regarding work-up and treatment of various “psoriatic appearing” conditions.

• Be able to accurately diagnose and treat several common vulvar dermatoses.

• Feel more comfortable with the work up and management of immunobullous diseases.

• Have a better understanding of how several autoimmune diseases have clinical overlap with their dermatological presentations.

• Feel much more confident addressing and treating patients with picking disorders.

• Be more aware of sunscreen controversies so they can adequately educate their patients.

•Be able to identify and treat STDs presenting as dermatological conditions.

•Be more aware of when it is appropriate to place a patch testing referral.
