Prestigio’s Photo Contest Starts Today – Meetthe Jury!21st September 2009
GORINCHEM, the Netherlands – Since the 15th of September, amateur and
professional photographers from all backgrounds and levels of experience are
invited to submit their pictures to Prestigio’s 2009 International Photographic
Contest. To be eligible, all pictures must illustrate one of Prestigio’s brand
values: Elegance, Performance or Inspiration. Participants have until the 30th of
November 2009 to present their work and have a chance to win up to $1000
cash prize! Visit the contest’s website to create an account, upload your work
in a few easy steps, and share your talent with the world.
All pictures will be evaluated by an international panel of professionals, the
most creative pictures and/or concept will be awarded. Prestigio is proud to
count the following four talented artists as members of its jury:
Brian Ypperciel
Brian Ypperciel is a fast rising fashion photographer, thanks to his work’s
elegant line, sophistication and interesting composition. Brian's photos have
been shown in several important Canadian publications such as Style
magazine, Clin d'oeil, Elle Québec, Zoozoom, Chatelaine, and Overture (winnerof Overture photographer of the year contest 2005). His work also appeared in

Mark Goldstein
Mark Goldstein is an experienced professional photographer and website editor.
He owns, runs and writes for PhotographyBLOG, one of the UK’s biggest digital
photography websites, which offers informative new product reviews and
original in-depth news from around the world. He's also a regular contributor tothe popular UK magazine Digital Camera Buyer. Mark’s personal work can be
seen on his Portfolio site, which presents beautiful pictures of people, travel,
urban life and events.
R. Madhu Gopal Rama
As a freelance photojournalist with a focus on human conditions, vanishing
cultures & traditions, architecture and archeology, Madhu Gopal Rama was
awarded several distinctions in the last few years. His recent work,

China Folklore Photography Society. Madhu also received, among others, the
distinction Associateship of Royal Photography Society in 2007. His work was
published in magazines such as Travel+Leisure, Cosmopolitan, Travel Plus,
Good Housekeeping, and Times of India. He also took part in exhibitions in
Italy, India, Canada and China. Madhu previously won the 2nd price at the
Prestigio International Photographic contest in 2007.
Barbee Cain
Also a previous winner of a Prestigio International Photographic contest, Barbee
Cain is a ”mixed media artist and one of (her) mediums is photography”, as she
explains. She aims to convey mood an emotions through her photographs: ”I
am a creative energy with boundless passion to create, push the envelope,
collaborate, connect, and manifest my vision.” Based in the U.S., she worked
with stars like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Bob Saget, DJ AMP, and Lil’ Wayne, and with
brands such as VISA, Red Bull, Virgin Records, MTV, Nike, and Hilfiger, amongothers. She is currently a journalist with Talent Speaks Network, and she
teaches Art History and Digital Photography at Misty Forest Academy. Visit her
