Logan Aimone works with the team at School Newspapers Online coordinating the Ad Network, Best of SNO and educational programs. Previously, he was executive director of the National Scholastic Press Association and was a journalism teacher and media adviser in Washington state, where his students earned top national honors for their newspaper, website and yearbook, including Pacemaker and Crown awards. He is a past Dow Jones News Fund Distinguished Adviser and Washington state journalism ad-viser of the year. He has a master’s degree from the University of Missouri and holds Master Journalism Educator certification from JEA. Aimone is co-author of the most recent editions of two textbooks, “High School Journalism” and “Junior High Journalism.”

Mary Pulliam

Leslie White was Director of Photography at The Dallas Morning News from 2007-2014. She joined the Morning News in 1992 as the “Electronic Photo Editor,” helping to issue in the age of digital photojournalism at the paper. She’s done most of the jobs on the photo desk, including News Photo Editor, Assignments Editor and Assistant Director. Beginning in 1998 she took a 5-year hiatus from the Photo department to work for the paper’s web site, working on different forms of multimedia and web design. Eventually her first love, photojournalism, called her back to the paper in 2004. She helped lead the photo department’s transition from a strict still/newspaper environment to its increased emphasis on video, multimedia and use of the web. She hails from New Orleans and her first job was as a staff photographer at the Times-Picayune for two years.

Leslie White

Leslie is a Minneapolis-based photographer with a background in graphic design and art direction. Some career highlights include photographing her favorite musicians (Metric, P.O.S., Macklemore and Metallica) as well as any and all puppy photo sessions.

Her photography has been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, The New York Times, the Star Tribune, the Chicago Tribune and Vita.mn.

Before running her photo business full time, she was the art director for vita.mn and a designer for news-papers including the Star Tribune and the Miami Herald.
