Business of the Month

BusinessMonth

of theBusinessMonth

e small business of the monthprogram is designed to recognize the dedication, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by small businesses within e Dalles community. e goal of themonthly award is to highlight a smallbusiness and give them extra marketingexposure to aid in growing their business.

We have asked NW Natural, as our 2018 Business of the Year, to select the Business of the Month.

e business is selected based on theirquality of customer service, willingness to go above and beyond, and overall impact in our community.

e names Honey bucket, privy, loo’s,dunny, johns, all have one thing in common…. they associate with what many of us term as porta potties. A portable toilet, something we all have used but prefer not to talk about. October’s Business of the month doesn’t have the same feeling about porta potties. e word is part of Bishop Sanitation’s dailyconversation since they specialize in portablerestrooms and septic tank services.

Based out of Goldendale, Bishop Sanitation prides themselves on providing the most professional service in the Columbia Gorge. Founded in 1962 by Blake Bishop and now owned by Edgar Holbrook since the late 1970’s. Bishop Sanitation has been a big participant in partnering with e Dalles Chamber to make the outdoor events successful. Bishop Sanitation prides themselves on being a great employer, encourages good customer service, and community participation. Give a call to Bishop Sanitation for your next event and see how they can help.
