How to Manage Effluvial waste in Urban Household, a Multi

    benefit project

Townsfolk are very busy in their day to day life. Excluding effluvial daily

wastes collection has been an enormous problem for them. Because they haveno much time to do an extra effort for waste management, so we can see some

people throwing their waste ridiculously to streets, when those ruffled by

animals like crow, dog It makes veryunpleasant surroundings. Not only that it

causes lot of health problems as respiratory diseases, dengue calamity also

increases by this irregular waste throwing.

But HELP-O Eco Green company has given the best ever solution for this

serious problem. Installing bio gas units are one of better solution for the

proper waste management. In the process we can utilize food waste,

kitchen wastes with impure food, wash water, cow dung, and shit of

animals as pig, chicken, goat, waste water plants, grass and quickly

digesting leavesas feeding materials for thebio gas plant. The other benefit

of this system is we could use even human excreta to bio gas plant in the

process. It is the better answer for urban peoples desperate & unpleasant

problem of over flowing toilet pits.

Normally the quantity of lands is limited in urban homes, but we can find

small gardens beside almost all the houses. Actually it needs only 2010 feet

land (it can be flexible according to the land), to construct a bio gas plant.

But we can do any other construction or gardening since we can install the

whole plant under ground. Cross section of a bio gas plant has shown below

Domestic bio gas plant of Mr. Themiya who lives in Galle, is one of best

example for domestic bio gas unit installed by HELPO Eco Green Ltd in urban

household. He has only 09 perches land and plant was constructed in his

courtyard. Mr. Themiya who works in C.G.R came to us request to construct a

bio gas plant for waste management. Then we started to construct the unit

with his ideas. He also added few technical tips to construct the plant

    applicably in his place.

The sink which release kitchen waste water directly connected to the biogas

plant. Though the plant installed in courtyard, we have fixed the inlet near the

kitchen for easy feeding of kitchen waste. Toilet waste also direct to the bio gas

    plant.

So the whole procedure of waste management of his home has become so

simple an accurate with this bio gas plant

Lets hear his of his experience on bio gas process by his own words, I spent

nearly 75,000 rupees to install the bio gas plant, even if I make a toilet

pit I have to spend the same amount of money. But I cant appraise the

benefits we receive through this. First of all I have an accurate way to

manage effluvial daily waste. But now though the price of LP gas

increased day by day it doesnt matter for me as we are having bio gas by

    our own waste.

Not only that we can get organic fertilizer from the bio gas plant. So I

started to plant few vegetable and flower plants in my small garden.

Insect perils also can avoid with this fertilizer and I had a fruitful outcome. So my suggestion is everyone should install bio gas plants in their

residences because this is a multi beneficial project

As an earth caring company we are very proud to say, with the bio gas project

we have been able to manage effluvial wastes duly while making health full

    & pleasure surroundings.

It is a great honor we have been able to strengthen the national economy as

well as giving better future for the earth by reducing CH4 emission to the air.

    Sustainable Solution for Waste Management

    The most of people and

    institutions try to search for

renewable energy sources andsustainable solution toprotect

    the environment and natural

    resources in the world. We

believe that is a good step with

    sustainable solution. HELPO

    Eco Green Ltd could reach

    various sectors with biogas

    plants in Sri Lanka.

This is actually a greatopportunity to HELPO Eco

Green Ltd to take hand with

    government to conserve for

environment. In their eco-friendly way the HELP O Eco Green Ltd was invited

by the Ambalangoda Mayura Army camp to implement a Bio Gas plant for

organic waste management. 22m3the capacity and 500kgs of waste can be

dump in to this bio gas plant.

Waste Management was the major problem of the army camp and the

expenditure for LP gas was the other problem. But this plant will give bettersolutions for those by producing biogas and highly active organic fertilizer

while bringing an accurate system for waste management.

At the moment 90% of all construction finished of this bio gas unit. This is a

good step for other camp taken to manage their waste in profitable way.

This program is a great conservation for the earth Because, increasing of global

warming, methane gas emission to the air, environment pollution can be

    reduced through this better solution.
