Taste of I taly is a fo o d and wine tasting event. With Taste of I ta lyadmiss ion, guests receive tast ing t ickets they can use at any boothfor food and beverages.

For each food taste you provide, guests wi l l give you a t icket , whichyou col lec t in the provided box.

You wi l l receive re imbursement for 50% of the value of each t icket .You can a lso choose to donate a larger percentage of your prof i ts ora l l of your prof i ts to the IAMLA.

You may NOT accept cash or other payment methods.

How much is each t icket wor th? Each t icket i s wor th $4. For ever y t icket you col lec t , you wi l l receive50%, or $2 .00. For example, i f you col lec t 3 ,000 t ickets, you wi l lreceive $6,000.

How much fo o d constitutes a “taste”? A taste is 3-4 bites, for instance, a smal l scoop of gelato or a 3”x3”piece of p izza . The amount of food you give for each taste MUSTf i t within the c i rc le on the r ight . P lease make sure a l l your staf f understands that this i s a TASTING event . Ful l s ize por t ions offood are NOT to be given.

How much fo o d should I bring?Some of our most popular restaurants ser ve over 1 ,500 tastes. P lease, be prepared to provide a minimum of 800 tastes. You must be able to ser ve food unt i l 9 .30 pm.

What do the t ickets lo ok l ike? The t icket you wi l l col lec t i s p ic tured to the r ight . This i s the ONLYticket you may col lec t and the ONLY t icket for which you wi l l receivecompensat ion. You may not provide “ f ree” samples.

Where c an the guests buy t ickets? With Taste of I ta ly admiss ion, guests receive tast ing t ickets. Guests can purchase addit ional tast ing t ickets at the event , i f they choose.

What is the M erc ato? The M ercato is a specia l sec t ion of Taste of I ta ly where par t ic ipants ( restaurants, winer ies, food impor ters)can sel l their produc ts, ser v ices and specia l of fers to the guests. 20% of the par t ic ipants sa les pr ice wi l l be donated to IAMLA.

How do es it work? You decide what you want to sel l at the Mercato (eg: pasta , o l ive oi l , wine, gi f t cer t i f icates, etc. ) . You te l l us thesale pr ice for each i tem and IAMLA staf f wi l l se l l i t for you.

How many pro duc ts should I bring to b e sold at the M erc ato? We suggests 4 cases of wine for winer ies. For the other produc ts(pasta , o i l , cheese or ser v ices) , p lease contac t IAMLA off ice to receive speci f ic information and suggest ions.

Can I sel l my pro duc ts direc tly in my b o oth? No. The only place you can sel l your produc ts is at the Mercato. IAMLA staf f wi l l bein charge of the t ransac t ions and re imbursements.

I have an ABC l icense to sel l alcohol direc tly to public. Can I sel l wine b ottles or c ases in my b o oth? No. The only place youcan sel l your wine is at the M ercato. You can only ser ve wine tast ings to the guests and col lec t t ickets.

What ab out large quantit y orders? I f a guest wants to buy a large quant i t y of your produc ts (e.g. several cases of wine) , he/shewi l l be able to do so at the event . IAMLA staf f wi l l accept the order and payment. You must be able to ship the produc t di rec t lyto the consumer fol lowing the event . As with a l l other Mercato sa les, IAMLA wi l l receive 20% of the sa le pr ice. Please, contac t IAMLAoff ice to receive speci f ic information.

Should I bring the pro duc ts to Taste of I taly or should I del iver them in advance? We suggest you to have your produc t del ivered in advance. Cal l the IAMLA off ice and we can coordinate.

Is there refr igeration at the M erc ato? No. We do not have a refr igerator or f reezer.
