Mauritian citizens

PurchaseAll Mauritian citizens are entitled to purchase a serviced plot of land within the smart city. The construction of the residence must be achieved within 10 years.

SaleA Mauritian citizen can resell the serviced plot s/he acquired to any other Mauritian citizen. S/he may also resell the plot after construction of a residential unit to a non-citizen, as per the Economic Development Board’s guidelines. Non-Mauritian citizen

PurchaseOccupational or Residence Permit holders are allowed to purchase - for residential purposes only - a serviced plot of land not exceeding 2,100 m2 within a smart city. The purchase must be made before 30 June 2022 and its completion scheduled within 5 years.

SaleA non-Mauritian citizen can resell the serviced plot s/he acquired to any other Mauritian citizen. S/he may also resell the plot after construction of a residential unit to a non-citizen, as per the Economic Development Board’s guidelines.
