    The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) has updated its Service Definitions Manual

    for State Line services and is available on the Division of Disabilities and Rehabilitative Services

    (DDRS) website underDDRS Manuals. These changes and revised rates of reimbursement will beeffective July 1, 2012. The revised rates of reimbursement reflect Medicaid waiver services rates.

    Effective 7/1/12, the following services will be available through State Line Funding:

    OBRA Services - Specialized services are available to those individuals that reside in a nursing

    facility with a long term care designation. There is an annual cap of $10,500 for any

    combination of OBRA services. This cap will become effective at the time of the next budget

    renewal beginning 7/1/12. Budgets created for timeframes starting prior to 7/1/12 will not be

    subjected to the annual cap, but will see a modified list of services available for billing as listedbelow.

    OBRA Community Habilitation Group (Small and Medium Group)

    OBRA Community Habilitation Individual

    OBRA Facility Habilitation Group (Small, Medium and Large Group)

    OBRA Facility Habilitation Individual

    OBRA Pre-Vocational Services (Small, Medium and Large Group)

    OBRA Sheltered Employment Community Based

    OBRA Sheltered Employment Facility Based

    OBRA Supported Employment Tier 1 and Tier 2

    Nursing Facility Budget Submission and Billing Procedure:

    Budgets will not be automatically renewed. If the need for services continues

    beyond the current budget, the provider will be responsible for completing and

    submitting an Authorization of Funding (AOF) form along with the ISP

    electronically to the BDDS district office a minimum of 30 days prior to the start

    date of services.

    The Electronic Authorization of Funding Form (AOF) may be obtained from yourlocal BDDS District Office

    Services that are currently available under the Nursing Facility Budgets will still

    be available to bill for service months of June 2012 and prior.

    Effective 7/1/12, the above listed services will be available for billing under

    Nursing Facility Budgets.

    No action will be required of the providers other than submitting an AOF and

    ISP 30 days prior to the start of services. There will be no interruption in

    services for budgets submitted in a timely manner

    Sheltered Employment Services Services are available to those individuals receiving services

    through the Developmental Disabilities Home and Community Based Waivers (DD, Autism and

    SSW)

    Prevoc Calculator electronically to the BDDS district office a minimum of 30

    days prior to the start date of services.

    The Electronic Authorization of Funding Form (AOF) may be obtained from your

    local BDDS District Office

    Community Support Sheltered Budgets are being renamed Sheltered

    Employment Budgets. No other changes are being made to this budget type

    or services provided under this budget.

    No action will be required of the providers other than submitting an AOF andISP 30 days prior to the start of services. There will be no interruption in

    services for budgets submitted in a timely manner

    Supported Employment Follow-Along Services are available to individuals who have made

    the transition from Vocational Rehabilitation Services to supported employment services and

    have been found to be BDDS eligible.

    Supported Employment Tier 1 Defined as Supported Employment Follow-

    Along 1 to 5 hours monthly

    Supported Employment Tier 2 Defined as Supported Employment Follow-

    Along 6 to 10 hours monthly

    Effective 7/1/12, all SEFA budgets will be automatically converted to the

    appropriate Tier based upon current approved funding levels. For dates of

    service prior to 7/1/12, the current SEFA services (hourly units) will be available

    for billing. For dates of services 7/1/12 and beyond, the appropriate Tier will

    be available for billing.

    No action will be required of the providers other than submitting an AOF and

    ISP 30 days prior to the start of services. There will be no interruption in

    services for budgets submitted in a timely manner.

    Environmental Modification Supports Residential Habilitation and Support Services

    Family and Caregiver Training Services Respite Care Services

    Group Habilitation Training Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies

    Health Care Coordination Speech-Language Therapy Services

    Indirect Service Coordination Music Therapy Services

    Individual Habilitation Community Direct Therapy Services
