• Avocados can be substituted in foods to boost health. Avocados can be a substitute for cheese or mayonnaise. In baking, avocados can replace butter and cut the fat content by 40%.

• Placing an apple or banana in a closed paper bag with an under�ripe avocado will help it ripen faster so it can be enjoyed sooner!

• Avocado plants can be grown by seed, but it can take 5-13 years for it to actually become a tree and bear fruit.

• You can sprout an Avocado plant by saving the seed, submerging it half way in cup of water and keeping it by a sunny window.
