Carbohydrates

• The foods that has carbohydrates in them are Potatoes, Granulated Sugar and Drink Powders

• We eat carbohydrates because our body's need to burn to keep us going.

• The foods that have fibre in them are Bran, Dark Chocolate and Passion Fruit.

• If don’t eat fibre we could get developing colon cancer or type 2 diabetes and also heart diseases.

Protein The foods that have protein in them are Milk, Turkey Breast and Fish.

The reason we need is because Our body's nerves, tissues, bones all are made up of proteins. So proteins become very necessary for them to grow and repair

Saturated fats

• The foods that have saturated fat have them are Butter, Fish Oil (Menhaden and Sardine), Whipped Cream

• Why do we need saturated fat we need saturated fat because if we don’t have saturated fat our bodies have nothing to burn of when we work out. But you have to be careful of how much saturated fat you put into your body because if you have to much you have a risk of having heart disease, stroke, and even cancer.

Monounsaturated fats

• The food that have monounsaturated fats are Avocados, Olives and Olive Oil

• We need to have monounsaturated fats because but it also contains a high levels of vitamin E, which means that is very important antioxidant. Also if we have monounsaturated fats means you have a lower chance of have a stroke or heart disease.

Poly unsaturated fat

• Foods that have poly unsaturated fats in them are Fatty Fish, Safflower Oil and Almond Butter.

• The reason we need poly unsaturated because it is one of the healthiest fats because it lowers your LDL cholesterol and raises your HDL cholesterol. Also poly unsaturated fats can help you lose weight.

Vitamin a

• The type of food that have vitamin a in them are Sweet Potatoes, Liver (Pâté) and Dried Herbs

• One the reasons we need vitamin a is because its boosts your immune function, and it is great for your skin.

B9 ( folate )

• The foods that have b9 (folate) In them are Yeast Extract Spread, Bean Sprouts and Asparagus

The reason we have b9 ( folate) is because b9 is a water-soluble B vitamin with many rich natural sources. Also B9 (folate) is required for numerous body functions including DNA synthesis and repair, cell division, and cell growth.

Vitamin b 12

• The foods that have vitamin b 12 in them are : Crab, Lobster and Caviar (Fish Eggs)

• We need to have vitamin b12 because Vitamin B-12, or Coalmine, is the largest and most complex vitamin currently known to man. Also we have vitamin b12 because as well as helping make red blood cells and keeping the nervous system healthy.

Vitamin c

• The foods that have vitamin c in them are Guavas, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts and Green Hot chili Peppers.

• The reasons we need vitamin c is because so it can development and maintenance of scar tissue, blood vessels, and cartilage. We also need because vitamin C helps lessen oxidative stress to the body and is thought to lower cancer risk.

Vitamin d

• Foods that have vitamin d in them are Mushrooms, Fortified Cereals and Cod Liver Oil

• Some of the reason we eat foods with vitamin in them is because Vitamin D is an essential vitamin required by the body for the proper absorption of calcium, bone development, control of cell growth, neuromuscular functioning, proper immune functioning, and alleviation of inflammation.

• Foods that have iron in them are Squash, Pumpkin Seeds and Molluscs.

• The reasons we have iron are because Iron is an essential mineral used to transport oxygen to all parts of the body.

Calcium

• Food that’s have calcium in them are Dairy Products, Flax Seeds and Sesame Seeds.

• Some of the reason we have calcium Is because is to strengthen our bones, teeth , muscle contraction and certain hormones.

• The foods that have phosphorus in them are Bran, Toasted Wheat Germ and Bacon

• The reason we have phosphorus's because Phosphorus is is an essential nutrient required for proper cell functioning, regulation of calcium, strong bones and teeth, and for making ATP (adenosine triphosphate) a molecule which provides energy to our cells

Iodine

• The foods that have iodine In them are Dried Seaweed, Fish sticks and Navy beans, cooked.

• Why do we need iodine we need iodine because Iodine is a chemical element essential for the production of thyroid hormones that regulate growth and metabolism also because it increases a risk of retarded brain development in children.
