The advanced search function in NSW eTendering uses a structured approach and assists in narrowing search results by using a series of filtering options. This search function should be used when seeking to investigate a specific type of procurement arrangement or sourcing events.

Using advanced searchClick the Magnifying Glass to access the advanced search.

Both the keyword and the advanced search options are displayed. Click Advanced Search.

Advanced Search StepsAdvanced search uses a twostep process to return results:

1. Search Type - Select the search type and whether it is a specific agency search.

The Agency filter is set to default to All Agencies however the search can be restricted to one or more agencies by clicking Select an Agency and then selecting the required agency from the drop-down.

2. Search Criteria - Depending on the type of search selected in Step 1, several additional search parameters will be displayed. All fields are optional and will default to all if no information is provided. There is also the option to identify contracts that have a Piggyback clause.

It is important to note that the Keyword or ID field in Step 2 of the Advanced Search operates in a completely different way to a Keyword Search. Only exact matches will be returned. Wildcards, Phrases and Group Clauses entries will not return results. Below are examples of the filters available for each search type:

Filters for Planned Procurement searches:

Search Results RFT searchs will return an onscreen display. Contract Award Notice, Standing Offer Notice and Planned Procurement searchs allow for the results to be displayed on screen or downloaded by clicking Download Results.

The results include the agency, arrangement title & description, arrangement period, category and the contract award notice/standing offer notices ID, all of which can be searched, sorted and filtered.
