TRANSFER OF EQUITY SHARES IN THE COMPANY TO INVESTOREDUCATION AND PROTECTION FUND
Members are hereby informed that in terms of section 124(6) of the Companies
Act’ 2013 (the Act’) read with “Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority(Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules 2016 and Amendment Rules 2017(“the Rules”), the Company would be transferring all those equity shares on whichdividends have remained unpaid or unclaimed for seven years to the InvestorEducation & Protection Fund (IEPF). The due date of transfer of such shares is on3rd October 2020.
The details of concerned members and the shares due for transfer to the IEPF aremade available on the Company’s website: https://www.barooahs.com . In the
event valid claim is not received from the concerned shareholders by the Registrar& Share Transfer Agent within the period as provided herein, the Company shalltake action towards transfer of those shares to the IEPF after completion of theprescribed period.
Once such shares are transferred to the IEPF by the Company such shares maybe claimed by the concerned members only from the IEPF authority by followingthe procedure prescribed under the abovementioned Rules.
Unclaimed or unpaid dividend up to the year ended 31st March 2012 has beentransferred by the Company to the IEPF within statutory time period and suchdividend from the year ended 31st March 2013 is presently lying with the Company.
In terms of the said “Rules” the concerned members are requested to claim alldividends for the year ended 31st March 2013 and onwards by sending a letterunder their signature so as to reach with the Company’s Registrar & Share Transfer
