Dear Parents/Guardians:We have just completed the first quarter of
school and are anticipating another exciting and challenging quarter. As we move into the Common Core State Standards, our expectations and classroom assignments require you to become a more active participant in your child’s learning. Our expectations for students at Village Elementary School are high and this takes hard work and dedication from every student. This quarter, students will be working on their Science Fair Projects. We appreciate the support and encouragement you will give to your child.
Please plan to attend some of our school wide activities and events as this will help your child succeed. Get involved and sign up to become a school volunteer at www.getinvolvedineducation.com.
Respectfully Yours,Deborah A. PeeplesDeborah A. Peeples

Toys for TotsThis year Village Elementary will participate in the Toys for Tots Foundation. The mission is to provide economically, disadvantaged children a toy during the holidays. Our school’s goal is to fill two, large boxes with unwrapped toys for this holiday season. Please help us to fill these boxes by dropping off an unwrapped toy, for a school-age child. The donation box is located in the front office.
