HUNTER O’MAHONY THE “CABLE GUY”

ESPN3 recently broadcast a double header at NSU and Hunter O’Mahony was asked to as-

sist. He is pictured above handling the cable for the floor cameraman. Hunter had plenty of

experience last fall while doing an internship for Fox Sports Florida. That was not the only

thing that Hunter did while assisting the Fox crew at Marlins, HEAT and Panthers games.

According to Fox Sports Florida Coordinating Producer and MBA Sport Revenue Generation

Advisory Board member John Valek, Hunter assisted in setting up shoots and features on re-

mote for the Networks programming and live pre-game shows. At HEAT and Panthers

games he served as a runner and utility assistant.

FRESHMAN CHAD WRIGHT

GAINS EXPERIENCE

We love to hear from our students who take advantage of opportunities posted in the newsletter. Here is part of an email from SPT freshman Chad Wright: “I have a job with the Panthers. I work in the team store as a sales rep. Shortly after the interview I did with you in the fall 2015 se-mester I was hired. So far I am loving this job. This is the first job I've ever had that I actual-ly enjoy coming to work. I would like to thank you for sending out those newsletters be-cause without that I would've never found this job. It is cool to be able to come to the games and see the atmosphere and excite-ment around the team. It is something I will never forget.”
