NOTICE OF COMPLETION CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT MARKHAM TRANSFORMER STATION #4 PowerStream Inc. (PowerStream) is a local electricity distribution company in Ontario, delivering power to homes and businesses in the Town of Markham, Town of Richmond Hill, Town of Aurora, and the City of Vaughan. PowerStream has completed the Class Environmental Assessment for the proposed construction and operation of a new 230 – 28 kilovolt (kV) transformer station (TS) in the Town of Markham to address the growing electricity demand in PowerStream’s service area, particularly in the Town of Markham and Town of Richmond Hill. The proposed site of the TS is north of highway 407, west of Rodick Road (see map). The station will consist of two transformers and associated equipment used to step down electricity supplied from the adjacent 230 kV transmission line to 28 kV so that it can be distributed to homes and businesses. The new facilities are expected to be in service in the fall of 2009. In accordance with the Class EA for Minor Transmission Facilities, the draft Environmental Study Report (ESR) will be available for stakeholder review and comment for a 30-day period from Thursday, October 2, 2008 to Friday, October 31, 2008. Written requests must be received by the Minister at 135 St. Clair Avenue West, 12th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4V 1P5 no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008. A copy of the request must also be sent to PowerStream or SNC-Lavalin Inc. at the addresses noted above. This Final Notice of Completion is issued on October 2, 2008

MARKHAM TRANSFORMER STATION #4

PowerStream Inc. (PowerStream) is a local electricity distribution company in Ontario, delivering power to homes and businesses

in the Town of Markham, Town of Richmond Hill, Town of Aurora, and the City of Vaughan. PowerStream has completed the

Class Environmental Assessment for the proposed construction and operation of a new 230 – 28 kilovolt (kV) transformer station
