3 Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) Harold Lee (John Cho) and Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) fly to Amsterdam so Harold can pursue a budding romance with his neighbor. The pair run into Vanessa (Danneel Harris), Kumar’s ex-girlfriend, and her fiancee, Colton (Eric Winter) in the airport. Harold and Kumar board the plane, and mid-flight, an old woman sees Kumar lighting his new invention, a smokeless bong, and screams “terrorist!”. Air marshals immediately detain both, and the plane returns to Washington, where Ron Fox (Rob Corddry), a neurotic undersecretary of Homeland Security, sends them to the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. They escape and decide to travel to Texas in search of Colton with hopes that he will be able to help them through his father, who is connected with several high political officials. After being betrayed by Colton and jumping out of a plane, the pair falls through the ceiling of President George W. Bush’s (James Adomian) home in Texas. Mad Money (2008) Three years before getting caught, Bridget (Diane Keaton) lived a comfortable upper class life until her husband Don (Ted Danson) was fired from his position and sunk into debt. Selina, their cleaning lady, suggests Bridget take a job at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. On her first day on the job, Bridget hatches a scheme to steal damaged dollar bills slated for destruction. For her team she chooses Nina (Queen Latifah), who works the dollar bill shredder, and Jackie (Katie Holmes), who takes bill carts from the Secret Service room to the shredding room. Their first robbery is a success. However, they’re emboldened to do it again and again. Once Don and Bridget pay off their debt, Don suggests they stop before they get caught. Tipped off, Bridget and her accomplices begin trying to get rid of all the loot stashed in their houses, but the cops move in before all the evidence is destroyed. Bridget escapes, but the others get caught. Bridget hires a tax attorney to defend them. The lawyer gets Bridget and all her accomplices off the hook for their crimes. Battle Los Angeles (2011) Los Angeles and other cities around the world are being bombarded by meteors that seem to be slowing down once they hit the earth’s atmosphere. The earth is suddenly being invaded by space aliens that have landed off the shore of Los Angeles, and who begin killing everybody along the beach. The military is ordered into action. Marine Staff Sergeant Nantz (Aaron Eckhart), who was about to retire, is reassigned to a new platoon. The platoon, flown by chopper to the forward operating base at Santa Monica Airport, is being led by a new 2nd Lt. Martinez (Ramon Rodriguez). They are sent on a mission to rescue some civilians who are trapped at the police station within alien territory. They only have three hours to complete their mission and get out before the Air Force bombs that zone. The Shreveport Police Department doubled for LAPD and became ground zero. Other scenes were shot on Texas Street. Mr. Brooks (2007) Earl Brooks (Kevin Costner) is a highly respected businessman and was recently named Portland’s “Man of the Year.” He hides a terrible secret however; he is a serial killer known as the Fingerprint Killer. He has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and has kept his addiction to killing under control for two years. But his alter ego, Marshall (William Hurt), has re-appeared and is pushing him to kill again. When he does kill a couple while they are making love, he is seen and photo- graphed by Mr. Smith (Dane Cook), who also has a death and murder fetish. In a parallel story, the police detective (Demi Moore) investigating the murder is having problems of her own. She is going through a messy divorce and a violent criminal who had vowed revenge some years before, has escaped from prison and is after her. Soul Men (2008) When R&B legend Marcus Hooks dies suddenly, VH-1 invites his original back up duo, Floyd Henderson (Bernie Mac) and Louis Hinds (Samuel L. Jackson), “The Real Deal,” to appear at a memorial tribute at the Apollo Theater. Floyd, who’s bored in retirement, wants this more than anything. Louis, a philosophical ex-con, does not. Plus, there’s bad blood between them (Louis’s wife Odetta left him to marry Floyd - then left Floyd). Floyd begs, Louis consents but won’t fly, so they leave L.A. in Floyd’s flashy Cadillac with five days to get to New York. On the road, they must get back their vocal chops, renew their friendship, and sort out the past. With Floyd’s bad hip and Louis’ bad kidneys, will they even make it? Thief (TV Series) Aired 2006 Produced by Norman Morrill (“Early Edition,” “Promised Land,” “The Visitor”), the show revolves around a heist crew lead by Nick Atwater (Andre Braugher - Homicide: Life on the Street) who is planning on doing their biggest heist yet - stealing $30 million from the U.S. government. However, Nick soon has another responsibility, his 14-year-old step-daughter (Mae Whitman). The show also involves a cop (Michael Rooker) who is looking for a way to clean up his crooked image and a killer who has hired the Chinese mafia to settle a score. True Blood (TV Series) Alan Ball, creator of Six Feet Under, has created a sexy, scary drama that delves into the meticulously-crafted world of novelist Charlaine Harris. Since a Japanese scientist’s invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many people remain apprehensive about vampires living amongst them in Louisiana. A local barmaid, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) understands what it’s like to be an outcast. Cursed with the ability to listen in on people’s thoughts, she’s also open-minded about the integration of vampires. She is especially intrigued by Bill (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. W. (2008) Josh Brolin stars as George W. Bush in this Oliver Stone biopic that traces the head of state’s rise to power from a privileged alcoholic to a born- again Christian whose belief in religious destiny helped move him to the top ranks of political power. Co-written by Stanley G. Weiser, Bush is produced by fellow Stone collaborators Moritz Borman and Jon Kilik, with Elizabeth Banks co-starring as the first lady, James Cromwell as the elder President Bush, Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush and Richard Dreyfuss as Vice President Dick Cheney. Factory Girl (2006) A waif-like rich girl, Edie Sedgwick, (Sienna Miller) found favor with the celebrity media in the 1960s through her association with pop artist, Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce). The pair of them form the core of a bunch of self-indulgent, unfettered sixties socialites that cling to Warhol, as he holds court at his studio (known as the factory) as they live lives of excess and de- nial. Sedgwicks family is shown in a horrible light and Warhol is por- trayed as an immature, narcissistic leech, constantly looking for rich people to exploit. Christensen plays folk singer, Billy Quinn, a fictional character rumored to be taking the place of Bob Dylan, who appar- ently had a relationship with Sedgwick. “The Ice Man” (2012) In the 1960s, Richard Kuklinski (Michael Shannon) is working as a porn film lab tech until his mob bosses persuade him to change his career into that of a contract killer. For years, Kuklinski gains a reputation for cold blooded professionalism even as he raises a family who are kept in the dark. Unfortunately, mob politics ultimately forces him to secretly work independently with the psychopathic Robert “Mr. Freezy” Pronge (Chris Evans). Milam Street, and other downtown streets and alleys in between were locations for a car chase scene with Kuklinski doubling for New Jersey. Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (2009) High profile lawyer, Martin Hunter (Michael Douglas) has an impeccable record putting criminals behind bars and is a shoo-in for governor. But when ambitious journalist, C.J. Nicholas (Jesse Metcalfe) begins investigating Hunter for tampering with evidence, the district attorney’s perfect record is up for scrutiny. Commencing a risky game of cat and mouse with Hunter, C.J. frames himself as a murder suspect to catch the corrupt D.A. in the act. Romantically involved with C.J., but unaware of his assignment, assistant District Attorney, Ella Crystal (Amber Tamblyn) becomes caught between her boss’s political ambitions and C.J.’s dangerous expose. “Olympus Has Fallen” (2013) When the White House (Secret Service Code: “Olympus”) is captured by a terrorist mastermind and the President (Aaron Eckhart) is kidnapped, disgraced former Presidential Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) finds himself trapped within the building. As the national security team scrambles to respond, they are forced to rely on Banning’s inside knowledge to help retake the White House, save the President and avert disaster. Marshall, Texas, McNeil, and Milam Streets doubled for Washington, DC. These streets were the explosion and sniper scenes. The White House facade was located in Bossier City near CenturyLink Arena. The Pardon (2009) Toni Jo Henry (Jaime King) is arrested and accused of murdering a man on Valentines Day 1940, following an ill- conceived plan to rob a bank to pay for an appeal of her husband’s murder conviction. With the help of two tax attorneys, Toni Jo fights for her life in a system stacked against her. Because of her beauty, Toni Jo becomes a notorious celebrity, drawing unparalleled media attention. The Guardian (2006)

The US Coast Guard’s version of “Top Gun” with a little “An Officer and A Gentleman” thrown in features an aging USCG rescue swimmer, Ben Randall (Kevin Costner), whose team member is killed in a horrific rescue mission. Immediately prior to this terrible event, his wife (Sela Ward) also announced that she was leaving him. His first love would always be the rescue mission. His commander gives him a choice - quit or take a position as an instructor at the USCG training facility in Louisiana. Reluctantly he takes the position. Here he meets Jake Fischer (Ashton Kutcher), a young man with unlimited potential, but with a secret that seems to hold him back as a team player. Delving into his past, links are found that make him a psychic twin to the older man. Thrown into the midst of the story is a romance with Emily Thomas (Melissa Sagemiller), a local girl. Rescue missions punctuate the beginning and end of the story with the training sessions the center of the film.

My Mom’s New Boyfriend (2008)

Henry (Colin Hanks) is a young FBI agent. During a three-year absence from his home in Shreveport, his mother Marty (Meg Ryan) loses more than 100 pounds, looks great, and to Henry’s embarrassment, has become a party animal. Within a day of Henry’s returning home with his fiancée, Emily (Selma Blair), who’s an FBI profiler, Marty meets Tommy (Antonio Banderas), a suave foreigner.
