The client Welwyn and Hat-field Housing Trust ensured walkways, stairs and concrete canopies were waterproofed for their Social Housing Accoma-dations Project.

Water was getting into the bathrooms situated below the asphalt walkways. Water ingress was also evident at the front of the building where the asphalt to the lintels had deteriorated.

To complete the project on time and limit any disruption to the tenants, rapid curing products meant that tennants could still easily access their dwellings whilst the work was carried out.

1. Stairs and Walkways before preparation. Asphalt drip edge was removed & a new drip trim installed along with a new gutter.
